Having some really good fun on these two, the red garrett has been on here before, the blue garrett is a new purchase from the Cheffins Keeley Collection sale yesterday, although I think the Scammell Explorer in the sale would have been even more fun to have :DIMG_20160515_171053.jpg

Nice looking pair of twins there James 8) Main question now is which will appear next.... a full sized steamer or a scale Foden or ERF lowloader to cart them around on? ;)

Funny you should say that Paul as we almost bought one of Taylors fairgrounds Fodens, the scrapmans offer must have been better though as dad's since seen them in one of the Barnsley scrapyards. Cant be having any more purchases though as the garage is full now!

a few more pictures of the site and the area around it , each beam weighs 1.3tonnes which I picked up from a coded welding company and took back to my farm and cleaned them up and then gave them 2 coats of red-oxide paint then reloaded on trailer for delivery to site they are 9 meters long and are to support a sound-proof concrete floor for a flat above the function room , the 5 beams with the angles welded on the sides come out at £6500 + vat then they have to add on my cost of work (bit more model money) and one or 2 other costs the crane was £500 for 1hr on site was quoted £1200 by another company so think we got a good deal on that one  , my mates at barking forge have to make 3 steel staircases and some railing to complete the job over the next few weeks which depending on my work situation I may spray up for them and go on site and help fit
