Jdeere6910
Did the sed paint easily Mark? It looks like on the pictures it may need a rough sand to get the paint to stick
Paul Palmer
like the ford Mark,so you back on the convo's now?
mb86
A slightly altered U.H. Ford TW30 chassis convo 002.JPG TW 10 20 or 15?
Paul Palmer
ive got to ask Mark,if it is going to be a tw 15,why not the britains tw 15,or are you using the uh as it has more detail?
mb86
Think it'll have to be a 15 Martin Look forward to seeing this progress. I'm not getting very far with mine at the minute. I have decided to take the bonnet to convo to get painted properly. What are you going to use for yours?
Paul Palmer
Because I had the chassis, which didn't need to much altering, I have a spare britains tw bonnet that I can make fit (just need decals and grill painted) and like you say it'll be more detailed. got you, good to see you back at the convo work Mark
mb86
What aren't you happy with mark?
mb86
That's right, the 8210 were only an inch shorter wheelbase than the lwb tw's The chassis side rails on the uh chassis should pop off, change the back centres and you have a 8210
mb86
No problem mate. 8210 a had the smaller 10 series exhaust as well. Do you have a pair of old type Britains centres, they might do till you find what you want.
mb86
Looks good mark, it is sat nice and level on those tyres. what have you used to extend the bonnet?
Popular Post SHAWN
After buying a UH industrial yellow MF 135 earlier this year , thought I'd have ago at turning it blue and white , I sent the wheels and wings off to convo for a paint job made up a bonnet from a britains 6600 and added some bits and bobs from a UH 5000 , finally got some blue paint on it and was thinking a 3600 maybe,
mb86
Lovely job there shawn. There is no holding you back mark. You will soon have the full ford tractor range at this rate, I look forward to seeing this next convo. 8100?
mb86
7910 is a rare beast in this country. It was desighned for the French market but also sold in the uk, although you don't see many around. Like the 8210, the 7910 had the load bearing sump and no chassis rails as it was basically an 8210 with the pump turned down.
justy 46
Your right there Martin, here's the cut down TW30 bonnet now looking like a 79/8210 bonnet. Think I'll do a 8210 2wd and then a 7910 4wd. b1 001.JPGb1 005.JPGb1 006.JPG How about a very rare 8200 Mark..!!

Niels
That looks a very sturdy model Alex. Are the tines as big in real life as well? They look very chunky!
Stabliofarmer
Re-inventing the wheel, laser cut master for a Bedford TM wheel, also working on an AEC Militant wheel and tyre which is proving more tricky. Beats revision any day

Not quite as big but based on the Hardox model
Stabliofarmer
More wheel inventing, the Bedford TM wheels done fully in resin And AEC Militant wheels and tyres, resin centre, rubber tyres. Very pleased with all these, though a few too many air bubbles in the tread of the AEC's
Deere-est
Militant looks like a great model to be making. There was a 6x6 dropping with a hiab behind the cab parked in a yard near Traci's parents house. Looked pretty straight, too. Thought to myself, I must enquire about that.... Then it disappeared
Stabliofarmer
It should fit in well with the rest of my recovery fleet, they keep going up in price, at about £6000 at the moment and the few that appear from barns or the undergrowth have people wanting way too much for what they are. Would love to have a real one at some point though
Tractorman810
A broken uh grime spud harvestpr ,being taken apart for the belts and a few other parts to go onto the armer salmon beet harvestor, which is down and re started, along with a 3/4 painted cooks bale sledge , just got to sort the rear gate release system, the mf 699 awaiting decals and that new rail carrage chemical store ,which is all but done, just got to weather the roof up .conce done i cancget onto the muck spreader and the ford 6600. Maybe even the second ford 5000 conversion
