Yay finally found/stubbled across the guy I was talking about, I'd been looking for a page when it was infact an account which happened to pop up on my newsfeed today when he posted some new stuff. His name is Emil Karnock or Ek-Models and I highly recommend taking a look at his page if you can. Apologies if you cant see it but its worth friending him/getting facebbok to see them as everything is unique or unusual

Plenty round here milking in 6/12 parlours, ours is a 6 aside tie stall parlour

I suppose the size thing is just what you're used to, before I started placement a 15/30 seemed a big parlour, after doing 4 months in a 40/80 they seem small in comparison.

maybe thinking about it might bung a few more than just 2 what do you think. I think that I'm going to build a new shed for the parlour out of wood.

I think 6 would be a good size, a lot of 6 abreast parlours still used

Yes and also it is all there has been the need for with a small herd. Although it is slow and labour intensive it is probably the cheapest way that cows can be milked. There are plans afoot to put up a new parlour here but even that will be a 6/12 with room to extend.

40 / Side would milk ours in a change and a bit!!

Got another Valtra T (face lift model with front linkage) on the slab, driver fitted, wheels changed, smaller top link on the front linkage (why they had to put such a long one on there I don't know) and had to alter the brush to fit it.

Any pictures Mark?

For me, more cows getting the herd together now, nearly up for painting
