mb86
Thanks Ben. The scaledown is a really good model isn't it, lots of fine detail that I hope I don't loose when I get around to painting it.
844john
Looking very good Martin, looking forward to seeing this finished! There's something very satisfying about building a scaledown kit!
mb86
Cheers john, yes I agree, it's been a while since I've done one and was a bit hesitant to start chopping it up!
844john
Yes, it's much easier chopping up a £20 Britain's than a £50 or £60 + model!

844john
Just realised why Ford drivers are always so pale, they spend their working hours in a blanket of diesel fog, they never see the sun! It is yes, with bits cut off and bits added in to make a DP6.
Barry
Any more images Martin?!! I'd like to see the wheel as it looks better than the images on their website! Also, just noticed the smoke coming out the Ford, he he!!
mb86
Yes I'll get some more pics in a better light. I've got most of her together now. The tyre is an artisan 32 one fits nicely over the scaledown centre but is a fraction on the big side but better detailed. Pulling like a freight train, smokin' like a steam train. mb86
I've chopped off the front furrow, the front pivot on the beam part of the pivot on the headstock and the A-frame that went from the headstock to the rear pivot.
b_emmons
My current project is trying to convert an Old beaten up brittains farm MF760 found on ebay into some thing looking like this Will take and add some photo's of the progress as I have now worked out the axle and wheels and have converted a Siku MF steering axle using plastic card and looks about correct with body in place Just need to come up with a plan for the header, lifter and grain tank

mb86
Thanks Barry. I have a mini compressor and spray gun so will have a go with that and the paint that came with it which is solvent based.
