We have on offer to fit the 5430 Grass tyres (which I like the most to be honest) UH Celtis wheels (rim style looks a bit like MF and this is a proven combination) UH MF 5480 wheels (has been done before as well) On all combinations I have to sort the track width and fit the front mudguards. After cutting away the mounts for the cab inside the rear wheel arch it is quite easy to fit the wheels closer the the sides in the wheels arch, so the tyre thread will not stick out that much from underneath. This will improve the whole look of the tractor. When fitted with grass tyres I might put a Joskin TR 270 grass topper behind it, with regular agri tyres I have to find something else. As it is a small tractor it might just be a bale wrapper?

Maybe tonight or the coming week Paul, I will try to get this sorted among 1000 other things ....

I tried the 5480 wheels but they look too skinny. I will try the 5480 rims and the 5S.145 tyres, I think they might fit together and those tyres are a bit more beefy.

Euuhhh it has been going slowly. Can't decide on the wheels. I have a nice set of grass tyres, a set of Celtis wheels or a set of MF 5480 wheels. New steps have been made, just have to get some paint on them.

A few weeks ago I started a simple project on one of my favorite Britains tractors, a Deutz DX4.57. I always wanted a model with mudguards on the front wheels, so I modified another Britains front axle to fit. Unfortunately still waiting for the decals, so no end result yet.

Nice one Paul, I have always had a weak spot for these steepnose MF's and you made some nice additions to this model. As said in your other 5S.145 topic, I will try to do one with MF 5480 wheels on it, you have again given me plenty of inspiration!

In pen ... really?? You can't match this empty box to anything in your collection, regarding size perhaps?

I also have this 5S.145 a few months now, and I must say I really like the 6616 rims and UH tyres. One more project for the coming winter! But I also have a set of 5480 wheels in stock, so I might try those as well ...

Any news yet on the onion harvester and paulmtopper by Holaras yet?

Nice conversion Jan, I like you also added some details to it. Did all the plastic parts come off easily without snapping in half after 40+ years?

Nice ones, apart from those awefull rear wheels .... Based on the MF 590 UH did some months ago so also available in 4WD version in time I think.

As far as I know these Valmets were commissioned by a Dutch miniature dealer to celebrate their first anniversary. I ordered one with the red-black cab anyway.

Really nice attempt, but no instructions, that must have provided a challenge ... are these Scaledown kits priced a bit reasonable yet?

This one was not that expensive ... but I completely missed it!

Good progress made, and what an incredible donor you found back then. Have you sorted the "upside down Fordson on the radiator" yet?

The tops on these don't last long ... I have had one from my youth and since the plastic got a bit crispy, it snapped in half in the blink of an eye while refitting years later ...

These Valmets still make good money ... just sold one in less nice condition for 250EUR, also in the box. Condition is everything with these.
