  1. NO WAY! I have 6 of those in the shed! ebay here I come!
  2. Yeah, FP, thats the kind of thing I mean, sometimes I need to be aware of a part to think of using it
  3. I can recommend modelshop, but the ordering system is a bit frustrating to say the least...buy loads, postage stays at ?5 (they have big bottles of thinners which is good)
  4. Hi, Can Scaledown supply odd parts to customisers? I've noticed in the past that you have mentioned parts that are not on the general for sale list, such as extras for the Ford 7000.Things like front county axles would be useful on there own (to me anyway ) or does the production process make this impossible? Are there any other parts that can be sold seperately that are availible?
  5. My apologies, capt. sensible
  6. Found the answer if anyone is interested, there was only one ever made with a Super Q cab (it may be the one I photographed at Tractor Challenge) but there were some others that had a SQ fitted later during their lives although they may have been restored now
  7. Nice one! something I've been meaning to do myself, well I had a go and it wasn't good enough :'( I'm not sure though if the mudguards should be white, there were very few (maybe only 1) with that type of cab roof, it may have had white guards
  8. I would think it would be more likely to be the last one built, the first built in 1980 had the smoother cab, but how could it have been at smithfield in '89? I thought county went bust in '87?
  9. Ah, I think having the MF as mf8280 meant it didn't appear on my search, so sorry about that...I could vaguely remember seeing something like it, did a seach, found your 81** model and assumed I'd seen that.
  10. Sounds good sean (i did do a search to make sure I wasn't stepping on anyone toes with this, nothing similar came up \ )....my next plan was to glaze the door but selling this one to release some funds
  11. Siku 8280 with UH Renault 936 tyres, think I'll make some more of these, this one will be on ebay tonight
  12. Thanks Joe, they were taken in Somerset, unfortunatly the field was quite far away, you can see it in the background of many of these pics; interesting looking back to see how green it all was a month ago; http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=8778.0 And more recent http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=9361.0 http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=9384.0

    Auger

The auger I was after has been taken down and covered, the other has been moved too far into the yard, but i'm sure if no one else does I can get one after the harvest
  16. MF 2680 etc on duals or singles seem to suffer pretty bad (i'm sure theres a topic from days gone by on this ) and general stickiness with packaging....mine seem to be fairly good (so you don't have to worry guys) but better safe than sorry I also think the boxes will be in a better state without the wieght of a tractor in them, plus the tractors look better out of the boxes
  17. De-boxing/cataloging britains - boxes to go in attic, tractors in shed to prevent wheel melt Done a conversion, post it later, waiting for the paint to dry
