  1. Fully agree, would not have cropped the picture like that though
  2. and what are those slanting backwards cabs called, is it Duncan? And where Can I get one 1/32 style
  3. So what in particular is wrong with them though? How can you claim JD are best without drive NH, Case etc.
  4. no.4 looks like it could have come straight out of a brochure...good work
  5. That is not a bad site at all Bet the ones where the load went over the cab were even more fun
  6. Out of interest, what John Deeres have you driven, and what else have you driven to compare them against?
  7. Maybe that is true, I have never needed detailed information, but I had heard of those models before, whereas I'd never even heard of weatherill until I won a model of one off ebay...as long as JCB exists I'd imagine it will be a lot easier to find that infomation/employees than a company that is long gone
  8. ooo britains nerd alert The 2680 never had that hitch
  9. yeah I think you might have made somebodys day!
  10. Thanks xlman, I'll put all the info up when its finished in a conversion thread, this pic was only the first fitting of all the seperate parts I'd made so far so, it'll be easier to explain when complete
  11. I've never even heard of them, let alone seen on in the flesh, where are they popular
  12. Heres a sneaky peak Pic made small as to not ruin the supprise/disguise shoddy work Thanks for all the help on this from this thread, more work todo on the cab and tanks, but first I have a new question, are FCs ford blue or something else?
  13. Ok Nigel But there would be no need to catalogue them surely, just the part sheet from each kit? What is the most commonly requested part? I don't mean to be funny, cos its your business and to honest I don't know an awful lot about anything, but there must be a "top 50" of parts you sell?
  14. I would tend to agree, but there is something to be said for using Britains wheels especially if it is to be displayed amongst other standard Britains
  15. yep, thats the one, shouldn't be too hard to find if someone wants to dig around farmphoto, I think thats where most of the early stuff came from
  16. I remember one being on here a long time ago, general concensus at the time was it was scratch built, so we were wrong, is it all resin, or are some Britains cab parts resused?
  17. Brass rod, just buy a selection of diameters
  18. That seller is rubbish (the keen eyed amongst you may have noticed I've taken an interest to a few lots ) emailed to say "do you realise that you've put an ertl picture on a siku listing?" no reply....I'm paying by paypal thats for sure!
  19. I don't know if this will help anyone, but tonight I found out the ROS bodywork will fit on a JD 5410 with very little cutting..and they are one of the cheapest "proper" steering chassis out there
  20. They are bog standard 3070s, I will sell one (and this is the last one, cos I need at least three for projects and two spare for the future) totally mib never opened for ?14 + postage at cost,no packaging cost (cos people are paying ?10 for broken ones and I need the cash for other models), Sean you have first refusal
  21. Do you think the fact that it was a 3090 and not a 3070 made a difference? Mine are all the green box farmmodels stock ones
