  3. marstons build the griffiths trailers, the griffiths trailers actually have thicker heavier floors but less thicker gauge sides according to the specifications. conversley the AS Marston trailers have thicker gauge bodies and thinner floors than the griffiths trailers. griffiths spec is 5mm floors and 3mm sides AS MARSTON is 4 annd 4mm.

only seen rsm cabbed deutzs in uk with rear hinged cab doors but that was a uk built cab, there might have been some come into uk with this type of fritzmeier full safety cab but personally never see them. thats not to say that they werent about of course. all i remember is how quickly in the seventies they got a foothold in the uk market. large waiting lists for uk tractors these and fiat soon made presence felt.

  6. farmers weekly price guide lists them as a two wheel drive specification at 2,196 to 2,900 less than four wheel drive versions. transmission list as 16/16-4 what ever that specification gives. also transport boost horsepower still works.

  9. echo barrys comments about jcb as a company, training we received was second to none , factory support we received was second to none and no problem encountered was ever left unsolved ag machine or construction machine.
  10. for those who have not yet had the pleasure of a jcb tour they have machies actually up in the offices, some shown on here they use to have more upstairs. i was lucky during my service engineer career to go around factory when attending every service course. them days the 360 machines were built in bamfords old factory in uttoxeter and the fastracs at cheadle.
  11. its took long time for this to become standard practice and not optional, trackers, immobilisers, track locks and ram locks were always optional i fitted loads of these when i was service engineer with former berkeley jcb. the alpha dot system and micro chips . data tagg been around since 1996 but was never universally used.
