  1. err ....... i think you're already here mate those wheels do look the right size mark , just need different centers
  2. i think the 6710 is rather like the MF550, it's looked liked it could do more than it actually could , . have you any TIMS toys wheels from the deutz or massey ? or failing that ROS wheels from the older massey 3000 or fiat/ fendt efforts failing that tell us what you have got & help you decide
  3. hope you dont mind peter , but i can show you the look with smaller wheels i'll delete these late if you want the first pic is of my TW on big britains wheels the second is of my 7710 on smaller size newray wheels , tyres look right to fit on a 67 but the wheels are 6 lug wheel to rim not the usual 8 (just click on pic to enlarge for a better view)
  4. first Sean , then sparrowlegs & now you ? has bacon & pork gone up i know tom archer on the archers is doing well ,Ambridge has now got two pig units but these builds are also coming along nicely the other way for aggregate look is the plasticote stone spray , like jez used or like me roofing felt looks good mate , crack on like to see this any one for a bio digester :D (applicable joke to radio 4 fans only)
  5. county also built their own versions of these tractors the 6704 & the 7704 . i believe neither sold in large numbers
  6. well done peter , nice looking tractor that , but being a 6710 I'd be putting the original smaller thinner Britain's wheels , those wheels make it look too big to be a 6710 . the 6710 was never offered as a force 2 tractor as far as I'm aware as for the tractor it's self for real , my opinion ? basically the tractor was a heavy duty 6610 it was awful slow ,clumsy & underpowered. had enough work pulling itself around let alone being hitched up to something ideal ploughing tractor lots of grip, but limited to a fast 3 furrow rev plough or slow going 4 furrow rev,a big tractor with a small appetite unfortunately here's the one i used to drive for a short while, as the oil pump gave up & a 7710 engine was fitted , that made it a totally different tractor & a joy to work with 1987 / 88 ish ?
  7. brilliant pics andrew , gret to see one still in use , the last ones i saw were years ago in hedges
  8. not overly sure that it would fit your 2640 scott :D
  9. like the 600series pics mate , quality tractor fitted with a shortlife cab still a fair few about still working always good to see
  10. cab looks like it's sitting a bit high on the backend mate , other than that, nice tractor
  11. thats right ben , after all i'm only in it for the prizes
  12. 16.9 /30 same as mine then (& before you ask john , no i havent got any tyres for it yet ) if jdc still has his part worn 34's it may be easier to get 34in rims ! thatnks for the pics johny always nice to see your tractor
  13. looks well johny, thats how i want mine to look eventualy, i too will be putting the cab back on it in time , couple of questions mate , what size are your rear tyres ? how come you didn't try looking for either a de-lux rigid cab or the flexi cab ?
  14. at risk of numpying meself is it paul or dave BTW love the tractor (the fendt not the fordson / ford / ford newholland / newholland/newhollandC-IH or whatever they've called themselves today )
  15. because thats the same thought that went through my mind every time i'd finished any ploughing , thats what job satisfaction is all about, the last look into the field as you shut the gate , the thought of , job well done that
  16. how to solve yer problem sean ? make the chopper demountable

  21. here's mine mike , the majority of my displays use what are termed as 'off the shelf items' obviously as a display grows then the more self made sheds & equipment is used . first 16 pics are mine http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=18460.msg324939#msg324939 liking the idea of the pig unit as an attachment to your main display, it will add that extra dimension to you farm, nice size to start with as well but I'm sure you'll keep adding to it once you think it's finished it's inevitable , looks good keep it going mate
  22. i think you should of had first option on the 1/32 MF35 industrial marky , you were responsible for the 1/16 version afterall. bit of a cheek really
