  1. Welcome along Simon, looking forward to seeing your builds!
  2. This seems interesting, I'm guessing it'll just be the JD gator with the old ATV trailer?
  3. Looks like a great starting point Mathis, be nice strong items being built of tin
  4. Looks a good match Zac, very interesting project in the background
  5. I really am impressed by this 3D printing malarkey. 7:30hrs and I have a Merc Arocs sat infront of me, bought from Cults3D. A couple of little print errors but not too bad.
  6. That's my lot, a great time catching up with folk, so who I haven't seen since before the pandemic. Roll on next year!
  7. A fantastic day out at the Borderway Farm and Construction Show, great venue and looked to be plenty of folk through the door! I'll be back next year for sure. Photos in no particular order
  8. I would still question the results Joe as I suspect I'm using the exact same formulas as Agriscale. So there will be some deviation in tyre width as realistically it's returning rim width and particularly with cross ply tyres I haven't delved deep enough to definitively answer whether 80%, 100% or another number is correct typically for an aspect ratio, so there will be deviation in overall diameter.
  9. Not sure if this will work with uploading an excel file but we'll give it a go. I notice the Agriscale 'Banden Calcualtor' Tyre Calculator has dropped off line again. https://agriscale.nl/banden_calculator/ I use this tool quite alot when starting out a build as you can often find a tyre size on line and once a size has been determined much of the remainder of a build can be scaled from the tyres. I have therefore done abit of reading into tyre sizes and drawn up a spreadsheet to do the calcs, there's a side for modern radial measurements such as 215/75 R17.5 and a side for older cross plys like 12.00-36. At the moment the cross ply formula uses an aspect ratio of 80% although some sources suggest a cross ply is 100% aspect ratio unless stated, this can easily be changed by swapping 0.8 for 1 in the cell J12. It also gives you the real overall dimensions (so you can use the data for other scales) and 1:32 scaled dimensions. Hopefully this is of use to a few others, unfortunately I'm not dedicated enough to draw up a database of model tyres off the shelf like Agribanden did but in the modern world of 3D printing you can get the exact tyre you need made at relatively little cost, something you would only dream of in 2008 when Agriscale started their calculator. 10. Gutted to be missing the show this year but time commitments just weren't going to make it feasible. It looks like it will be a great show for all involved, just looking at that top row you don't see a set of scratch builders offering products at any English show quite like that! Best of luck to all involved and I look forward to getting back in 2023
  11. Looking forward to the show, will have to get the feather duster and super glue out to get the display looking ship shape
  12. Looks great Jack, plenty to see but not overwhelmingly busy
  13. I don't think theres much that can be done Andy beyond customize an implement for a specific tractor or a specific model manufacturer. It is something that's halted me form trying to develop too many three point linkage mounted kits to be honest as you simply can't cater for everyone. Or more critically you can barely cater for anyone!
  14. Fantastic updates Mark, brilliant to see. Really like the sheep field and the calf house. I suspect the lady on the quad is trying to make it as one of these new fangled 'farming influencers'!
  15. These are getting very impressive now John, very little to suggest that those are scratch built, you'd easily think they are off the shelf from a big manufacture
  16. That looks brilliant Zak, nice work. Really like the dug out mud effect around the corners
  17. Would love to see more photos of these if anyone took any, particularly the Mastenbroek. I'm assuming its Barry Burrells work? and in 1:50th scale?
