Whats on your workbench???
L33 DA17ON replied to MODELFARMER's topic in Other Conversions & Scratch Builds
Now I'm liking that cab star. Is it the n400? We use one for gritting at winter with pronar gritter bolted dow to the chassis. They have some pulling power. -
Seen that earlier on today at £19.99.

Washed the volvo today.. well can now say yesterday. Picked what felt like the hottest day of the year so far. It's been in need of a full exterior clean for a while now when I was back at work we laid a new yard for my bos with road plannings he then insisted to coat it in red diesel to seal it with a bomag roller. Save to say for a couple months the tyres on the Van's and cars where slick when leaving on a night. And the paint work was covered in tar spots. So the volvo got Tfr rinse Iron-x (fall out remover) Snow foam rinse 2bucket wash Tardis wipe down 2bucket wash again. Tango rinse Dried Polished and waxed Trims brightened up Wheels cleaned Tyres slicked Outside windows cleaned. I'll post some pics tomorrow.... well later on she scrubs up well for a old tank.

The Lockdown Challenge - Clear Your Workbench
L33 DA17ON replied to SPN's topic in Other Conversions & Scratch Builds
So as the title says clear your workbench. Found my bench getting less and less space with bits I'm gathering up, to build my diorama. So made some very quick shelving out of some scrap wood out the garage. 1 across the chimney wall and 3 down the side. I'll be doing the same on the other side to keep some models that dont have boxes with them. -

As I've said fantastic work. Itll be great to see what else you decide to build. So realistic. Like said in a earlier post if it was out side with the backdrop it would look real. Great work mate keep it up. -

What tractors did you see today without getting photos
L33 DA17ON replied to FB's topic in Farm Talk
Your right when you buy a new vehicle you can choose what reg you have it's the last 3 digits. My brother had SD57 TON it's just a list the the seller has on the system. -
A lad near us was a jd man he does a bit of contracting for local councils had a couple kids not sure what. Pulled a track machine on a lowloader and the other pulled a crusher most of the time. Anyway now he runs 2 valtras must say they do look a very nice tractor never used one though. But I think you cant go wrong with the green and yellow ones. it's a nice set of models you have there.

That's some work you've done there. What would a tanker like that weigh in real life? That's massive machinery to a hill farm like us. Think it would just sink into the ground, let alone widen all the gates to even attempt to get into the fields. Great work. Nice to see the build as well. Keep up the good work. -

Very nicely done mate I like that a lot something different. Great detail on it. -
I agree I wouldn't be handing my money over at that price. Someone will though.

So I was watching one like this, was sat at £35 or so. Ended at £60ish. Said the reserve hadn't been met, so I messaged the seller asking them what the reserve was set at they said £125. And said these are one of a kind, as the 3050 only comes as a 2wd and they changed it to 4wd and added some extra detail.

Haha I thought my bench has a hand full of different things going on. That's plenty work there to keep you going. My bench is a bit small realy so this afternoon I'll be making some shelving on the chimney wall to add more clutter -

Looking good, like to see it when its painted. Like the way people's work benches are full of bits and Bob's. Tonight I found my self at mine looking for the glue and I had to step back..right in front of my eyes. Nice work mate keep up the good work. -

It's never ending realy then. But as long as you enjoy it. Me been new to it, I'm finding it enjoyable. But its expensive as I have bought some old britains tractors and some new UH ,ROS Stuff that we had on the farm when I was a boy.but they'll be staying in the boxes. -

I must say now I've started I'm constantly looking out for things I can use and searching for ideas. Yours is looking fantastic that shed realy is looking good. -
I know this isn't that much money, but to me it seems a bit over priced. Ok I don't know that much about the cost of tractors and stuff but this 6820 I was watching and thought I'd have a cheeky bid last couple mins. Like everyone does. I was watching it at £19 thought it was at its max then ready as it £4 delivery and it had no rear hitch no box. Anyway its sold So I quickly did a Google search and you can buy a brand new one for £26.50. It just shows you how people get there selfs into a bidding war. I dont know it could have something custom done but I couldn't tell.
