  1. I fitted the bonnet with its TNS decals, and then hacked off the rear red bar from the old 7S which sits between the rear fenders and the bottom of the cab frame. Filed & painted ends, then glued in place on new 7S. And now it looks like the ones I see in these parts, as all the 7S tractors Nunn's have sold in the past year have the standard fenders on them. I Put a September 2023 registration plate on it as well. I added a couple of pics from the dealers yard of a 7S.180 model with the same spec.
  2. Okay, So I removed the unwanted fenders from the model and replaced them with the 5S versions and after a good deal of modifying underneath I grip filled them into place. I then put the nicer 7S seat and buddy seat into the cab. Fortunately the 5S model is top specced with most of the same controls used on the 7S. I decided to swap the 7S front rims with my 8S model as they are slightly smaller and enabled me to fit a full set of tyres off a CASE Puma 175 tyres which UH have used on a few models. They are trelleborg 650/65/R42 & 540/65/R30 and a more popular match for sub 200hp tractors. I put the original 7S tyres which are fatter 710s and front rims on my 8S so they look right on the more powerful tractor. I also sprayed the rims Sapphire Grey. Before fitting the cab I had to swap the cab lights and indicator stalk from the original 7S cab to the converted one. A bit tricky, but with patience and some modification and glue the jobs done. The paint colour difference isn't to noticeable once they are fitted. Also fitted 7S roof aerial on cab.
  3. Finally caught up with a brand new Deutz Fahr 8280 in Java Green, initially on its way back to the farm and then the next day on a combi drill. Quite a rare tractor but certainly deserves more sales.
  4. Yes lots Paul, I have nearly finished it now and its turned out well. I have taken plenty of pictures so far but not uploaded any as of yet. I should get it done shortly so then I will post the pics.
  5. My upgraded Lumix camera takes much better pictures than the old one, and its the colour red that benefits most. In the past my MF pictures looked more like a shade of tomato soup rather than red☹️.......but not anymore. I took these photo's of a local MF exclusive farm lifting potato's right next to a river embankment, hence the high angle of the shots. They had recently bought three brand new red Bailey trailers to go behind their tractor fleet which comprises modern 7726,7719,7718S machines plus older working classics such as the original 3120 in the pictures🥰
  6. Yeah that wishlist is all for big tractors, I would rather Wiking made JD 6R.150 & 185 & 215 than 7R & 9R's Given how John Deere are attempting to takeover world agriculture by way of a myriad of new technologies, I should not be surprised if they have sanctioned a large number of new releases at Agritechnica rather than one or two. We shall see.
  7. Replicagri's TM's never looked right to me, so no surprise they've made a mistake with the never existed yellow TM165 decals. Same as Schuco casting a 7810 as a 7800, its just a rip off of the consumer.
  8. I took these pictures of G.Shropshires new JD 9900i and one of their large fleet of JD tractors. Got some even better pictures of them today which need uploading. I got to speak with the main man's son who is taking over the reign's. Sadly he plan's to move all their kit over to John Deere due to JDs technological/data superiority across the full range of machines. Unfortunately for Fendt they don't have access to the US military's GPS system (unlike JD) and Mr Shropshire wasn't impressed after using trimble set ups for the past 10 or more years. I like to see MFs and NHs working on his estate even though they are 95% hired in, but they may be gone in years to come as JD get more and more competitive due to scale and fewer dealers who place mega orders and get big discounts. He also has just bought an X9 combine as well, that's the 13th on my patch since 2020!!!!!!!!!!!! And its replacing an 8 year old Claas Lex 780 that hasn't had a spanner put on it either. How deflating for Claas, they weren't even asked to quote by the sounds of things.
  9. Yes it was a 20 tonne Warwick and they had two of them, here's the second one behind a T234 Valtra.
  10. Field Estates farm over 5000 acres locally with a large potato acreage, they own several JDs a pair of Fendts and a few very old Ford 7840s. They also hire in some JDs for peak times and for the past two season's they contract in three Irish tractors & operators from Gamble Brothers! This year they have a nice 7720S plus two lovely 7719S tractors.
  11. HC Beale's Claas 970 & Kemper header plus JD fleet and contractors black MF.
  12. We are in peak silly season in these parts, Maize, Potatoe's, onions & sugarbeet all being harvested locally and cultivation's/drilling in full swing now. Tractor spotter's heaven😄 I caught up with Pretoria Energy's brand new Claas 990 in an appalling field of late sown maize. There must have been 15 trailers parked in the field waiting their turn in the sparse crop. Mostly Irish boys with JD/ Massey/NH tractors and irish trailer brands. Also a couple of P.E own Massey 7719S fleet ferrying adblue and cleaning the road.
  13. Paul Palmer Not got mine yet and im away on holiday on wednesday with no chance of picking it up on monday or tuesday so will get it when im back from holiday, I know your not a fan of the cab what else dont you like Phil? Just the cab and fenders Paul. The 7S Bonnet is very good, chassis as well, tyres & rims are exactly right 650/65/R42s...........600/65/R30 Already sprayed wheels Sapphire grey. Exhaust , manifold box, steps ,adblue tank, front linkage etc all good. Most Massey fans will be more than happy with it, its only us conversionists who seek greater accuracy and try to rebuild things better.
  14. Skipped Spalding to make a start on this model and although I have had to do a fair bit of angle grinding, fileing and drilling out it does look promising. Much more to do in the days ahead though.
  15. Nice model for the most part but the cab's wrong and the rear fenders are off the previous 7726 model which got replaced by the 8S.265 and is now history. You can see they are the same in my picture below of a black 7726 & the new 7.190. The fender should hug the tyre all the way round on the 7S, not turn up as on the large frame 7726. Firstly its annoying that UH didnt tool an all new cab and fenders, however they did for the 5S.145 and they are the ones I will attempt to fit on the new 7S.190. I will have to transfer some parts from the 7S cab onto the 5S but at least it will look right.
  16. This arrived on Saturday.....................MF 7S I will be rebuilding this as its a mix of very good and not so good.
  17. He could do a blue power Valtra Q305, that would be cool. Given that Valtra are the most likely tractors to be seen in a myriad of different colours I'm surprised Pete hasn't done more convo's on them. I bought a black T series a few years ago off him that was very good.
  18. Just been notified that my 1 32 MF 7S has arrived at dealers, will have it delivered by Friday/Saturday.😎
  19. Thats a yellow 8740S Joe, no new cab or new bonnet on that.
  20. Funnily enough I past a 3670 in a roadside field with a set of discs on my way home. Hadn't seen it before, I think the small holder used to have a 3645 before which he had owned from new. Anyways it had 42 inch rears like seans model and standard looking tyres (20.8s probably) and definately standard fenders. Very few 3600s had wide fenders round here. So even modern day 650/65/ R42s which are pretty common on 180+ hp tractors would be too big for 3670/90s. Farmer Phil has been shooting lots of footage of his 3690 just lately with a good few videos of it, and its pretty standard spec, unlike Grassmens over the top version.
  21. Your 8210 is a credit to you Justy, lovely tractor. I have to say that looking around my part of the east anglian fens its Massey Ferguson 80s & 90s classic's that are far away the most popular tractors. I know of a few Ford's & JD's etc but when it comes to seeing them out on the country lanes working its virtually zero. Where as yesterday I saw a MF3690 on a muck spreader and recently a 3635 running up and down the village shifting soil. A 3095 on a hedge cutter is often spotted too. And also 3645 on a very late 95 N reg was seen a few times last year along with a 3120. And I know where there are a fair few MF's between the 3060, 65 ,70,75,80,85s upto a 3125s that dont venture far from their home farms/ studs etc. Maybe its because all the old Fords were specially sort out and stored or sold abroad as future investments? Or that Massey 3000/3100/3600s were market leaders for a year or so at the end of their run in 1993/4/5, especially around here, and the those tractor ranges pioneered the electronic revolution in farming.
  22. And another, I prefer it to the Valtra S from this picture.
