  1. I know this is a big favour to ask, but can anyone post some pictures/opinions of the recent UH models they have bought. I've been seriously "out of the loop" for about 6 months. The last UH model I bought was the Claas forage wagon. I'd ordered the Fendt tractor but a shipping snafu meant it didn't arrive. I'd really like to know about the Claas Cougar, the Kuhn mower, the Tecnoma sprayer and anything else I may have missed. Sorry if that's been covered, but I have had dozens of unread posts to go through and my time to browse the forum is still limited.
  2. Nice pics NewHolland2, great scenery, as always. I have a soft spot for 135s, learned to drive on a 135 running a PZ haybob. Cleaned out pens with 'er with a manual trip MF loader too, sure makes you appreciate the cooll stuff from Stoll and Alo nowadays.
  3. Davie, was that the laddie selling the E27N's etc as a Britains- replica- to- fill -in -the- gaps -in -your- collection- until -you -get- the- real- thing. (didn't want to use quotation marks 'cos I'm not sure it's a direct quote )
  4. That's one of the older model of UH tractors in that set, right Ricky? It may be a good way for tham to move an older piece that maybe isn't selling too well any more. It is one of their more basic tractors too, if I remember right. That's why I didn't go for the set, didn't think the tractor did the wagon justice.
  5. Hehehe looks very cool. I kinda thought about taking the hood, sorry, bonnet off ours and getting something unique done to it. I was thinking a good flame job or something. Just not the '70s "van man" wizard or topless xena airbrush job.
  6. Does anyone have the Renault with that loader? What make and model is the loader based on?
  7. I was hauling hay yesterday (boring!) and this popped up in the cavernous area that my brain should be in.. What model would you like to see made that you know in your heart will probably never be made (for what ever reason, lack of sales of the real thing, butt ugly etc). I have two. Deutz Intrac and a Same Taurus 60.
  8. That's a helluva good tractor, get over it. Good pic Rick.
  9. Thanks for the info FP. Things aren't too shabby over here. Light at the end of the tunnel and all that. Doing 120 acres of round bale silage (wholecrop oats) for a neighbour at the mo'. Harvest is coming along quite well in the valley. Wheat is almost done and many are well into canola (OSR). We have 140 acres of barley to come off yet but I think that'll happen at the beginning of next week.
  10. What do the red "cubes" on either side of the center section represent?
  11. Well now FP, that's two advanced sales for the ambitious builder.
  12. Super pics. Where's the custom builder that's gonna tackle one of those?
  13. They're all good eh, FENDT POWER. I'm not familiar with MAN engines. Does anyone else use them in agricultural applications? What did Schluter use?
  14. Fendt Power, knickers to that, it's the Deutz engines in the smaller ones I'm talking about.
  15. Nice pictures there MF fan. 'course the Fendt sounds good, look at what's under the hood.
  16. Thanks for that, I've been looking for a picture of a ROS Merlo telehandler for ages. It looks quite detailed. Siku or better Britains quality for detail?
  17. Very nice collection. An interesting variation of goodies.
  18. My wife and I took an Ertl factory tour back in the early '90s during the Dyersville summer toy show. At that time Ertl's manufacturing was still in Dyersville Iowa. It was quite interesting, although the model assembly looked like a job that would get VERY monotonous right fast. What impressed me most was the speed with which those folks could fold the 1/16 models in the open front boxes.
  19. Nothing before the (real thing) model year of 1965. Mostly modern stuff.
  20. What I see in that list is a list of toys, not a list of collectibles. It's pretty obvious that the kids want a mixed farm leaning towards livestock. It's quite varied and has some ecclectic pieces like the spearhead orbital reach mower and, as the britfarmer said, the Steyer tractor. Quite a breath of fresh air. It tells me that there are certainly some implements out-selling tractors.
