Deere-est
True but it would be the other way around if a six year old got hold of the UH one for a few days carpet farming!

nick a
Aimed at different markets- i myself as a shelf/model collector see potential in these siku tractor toys. By adding the right colours into the cabs, adding drivers and fitting front end weights or more realistic front hitch they make interesting additions and projects- look further than first impressions is my thought when viewing these releases. Paul Palmer
by the time you do all that it wouild make it the same price as the uh one,im not bashing the siku models as they are aimed at kids market and are obviously more durable than uh models

Isnt the above what WIKING do more or less to siku models? We know Siku are kids models so Im really not bothered with them, however I would still like to thank them for having the intelligence to set up the link with WIKING. If they had not done this then we would not be getting FENDTs fabulous new 828 tractor in beautiful detail but a crude styled Siku format instead! The final spec of the JD controlled units is of mild interest and yet again and a pet hate of mine WHY is that Joskin trailer coming as a bl**dy tri axle!!! I want a dual axle grain trailer that you might actually see on a UK farm! A twin axle Joskin just about meets that criteria but not another triple And didnt someone else make a high quality Joskin tri axle last year? ROS? So its already been done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bluegreen
Something else ive just noticed, look at the pic of the JD8530 controlled 1/32 look at its wheels &tyres (yes I know rears are partially obscured) they look absolutely spot on WHY cant friggin Britains make there ones like that for ERTL JD8000 & 7930s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Tractor Twitcher
Mmmmmmmmmmmm Forestry gear is becoming rather appealing to me of late Having just seen the Siku John Deere 1470E tree harvester in the flesh this morning for the first time, I have to agree Tris, it's a fantastic and very functional looking model and would look very nice alongside the upcoming forwarder release. Thanks for sharing the pictures Atte, certainly more than one or two items of interest there, looking forward now to seeing how the big Xerion turns out. Tractorman810
must say looking at the rc jd 8 series and the plough to, i think they may well be my first rc siku models, green or not,
PDC
I don't think the plough will look like that once it has the turning mechanism on the headstock and the telephone lead to the tractor ;D ;D ;D

archbarch
thanks for posting the pictures Atte, the thing with Siku for some reason they always look better in the flesh than the pics, unlike Britains which is the other way round!!!!!!!
