justy 46
Just to clarify then - a few weeks ago there was a lot of discussion saying UH where going to produce a 7610. Was this incorrect and in fact it was these gen II models from Marge or are there still plans for a competing model from UH? Id say the only Fords we will see from UH in the coming months are the TW-25s. I would be very surprised to see 7610s from them. Marges 7610s are the way to go! Very happy with mine. Niels
What about a 1/43rd or 1/16th scale 7610? Would make sense.

mr softie
looks like it has nice chunky boots on , should keep the people who were complaining about the ones on the uh happy
robbo
I just wonder how many people will be prepared to pay the extra for the marge Models version over the Universal Hobbies one. If it is anything like the 7610 then it will be double the price :-
Tractorman810
thats what i was thinking mike, i guess the marges are far better detailed?? but for effectivly opening doors and a 3 point not a siku hitch, they are a lot of money compaired to the uh ones
MuirHillyBilly
So is the detail difference between say the UH 7810 and the Marge Fords really great, I only ask as I've never seen a Marge one in the flesh? Also do you think Marge knew UH were doing an 8830 and vica versa? Edited January 24, 2012 by MuirHillyBilly

bluegreen
looks like it has nice chunky boots on , should keep the people who were complaining about the ones on the uh happy Yes I was complaining (nothing new there then ) and your dead right that TW looks very interesting and I will be keeping my cheque book closed to the UH version until Marge show us their finished model Their 7610 super Q 2wd version is simply stunning and the best Ford to date so ive got high hopes for this new prototype. justy 46
Have a meeting this friday with MarGe, so will try to get some more information Yes run the 4600 & 4000 idea past them. A 3cyl FORD is badly wanting The 9700 & 8210 would be great also. UH have the big TWs & 8830 covered. SO WHY THOSE by Marge ? mrol
I'm pleased Marge are doing the bigger Fords. The 7610s are simple brilliant models and so hopefully will these. Those front head lamps look interesting - square profile is definitely more unusual then the round ones. But will help make it a bit different so I'm not complaining. I wonder if they will also do a County. Perhaps also explains why UH are doing the TW25 and not the 35.
bluegreen
The only square light picture I can find is on an 8630 Ford so I guess its either an 8730 or 8830 which both please me and you can guarentee that marge wont cxck the rear mudguards up as well

bluegreen
TW25 will do nicely and no doubt a 30 series will follow as well, both of which will be superior to UH and of course at least double the price! You gets what you pays for so im waiting for the Marge TW. How about an 8210 to follow the TWs Marge
Barry
Are there any differences visually between a TW25 & a TW35 other than a decal change?
