FB
Yup! To be fair, I do have five maybe six packs od this I bought off Ricky a few years ago and they havn'tyet seen the light of day! So I shouldn't moan really. Sean is still a git though! :D that makes me feel soooo much better now!!!.....felt bad the whole time! well me, eeer nothing, but i'd like to thank Andy again for the Siku plough and Harry would like to thank Fraser for the little men he gave him (no Tris wasnt boxed!) as well as Steve and Barry for the flapjacks and biscuit! also, Harry got the old Siku NH on floats, Siku fastrac (old one), green Marston and the siku cultivator, which he learnt the word from Tris! i did pick up some stuff i gave Sue to sort out painting which i'm pleased with! only downside to the show, being its my first at this venue, the catering i thought was a let down, only a burger van and lack of seating i could see, not really family friendly unlike splading with the cafe, other than that a good fews hours well spent meeting up having travelled down friday afternoon.......and good to see some models i may well have to look at obtaining in the future! The Tractor Twitcher
Here we go gents. My recently purchased 2wd version. Martyn has also made a top job of the 4wd variation too.....which i'd quite like when have some more pennies saved. I'm planning a small review of this model and will post better "clutter free" photographs in my collection topic, may even start an individual thread for this model in due course.
justy 46
I really really like that. Seems a 2wd UH TW rear end & front axel with a Britains TW-20 /7710 engine & bonnet lengthened. Would I be right!!! 8)
mf135
You win first prize well sort of ! I found a very nice original tractor and took all the measurements and the old Britains TW20 bonnet and engine was to short this would be ok for the 7710. With a lot of cutting and filling so there was no under cuts when cast because the rubber mould would not come out then the resin also. The engine of the UH TW30 lends its self very well as UH has missed the intercooler pipe casting under the exhaust manifold which the 8700,9700,TW10,TW20 would not have had and the real only diffrences between the TW20 engine and the TW30 was the intercooler The TW30 is a whole 1in longer than the TW20 in the wheel base so not really noticable. Again with the 4wd 9700 and TW20 etc the front axle was a ZF (or ZP ok i'll put me anorak on) which was side drive driven from a large drive casting bolted in front of the left trumpet housing. Again UH missed this on the TW30 as they made this the later type centre drive and this had to be cut off and filled before casting. The front weights are of the older style that would also fit the TW 10 and 20.The rear wheel weights are also cast in resin and the base weight made to fit the UH rear wheel. The left hand diesel tank under the cab is also cut down on the 4wd model and cast in resin as the 2wd version go back to the trumpet housing. Hope this is of some help thanks Martyn.

Leakeyvale
The only item I spent money on! From Jacqui of Ceynix (the tree lady). Photo does not do it justice as it is a really beautiful hawthorn tree in bloom and as I live in a village whose name means the Hawthorn Valley I just had to have it! All I now have to do is mount it on a suitable free-standing base.
Deere-est
I was tempted by those trees too Sue, especially the bigger ones. The price was a reflection of the time and quality these trees have in them. I photographed by purchases earlier so here they are:
Leakeyvale
Jacqui is an artist. Every tree she makes is a specific variety not just a generic elm or willow. Someone asked her if she had an oak tree and she promptly showed him four different oaks and named each. I asked if she had a Holm oak and the reply was "I sold that last week". She told me she has a commission from the USA to make several trees 36 inches tall and those will have individual leaves applied.
Deere-est
It certainly is an art, Sue. I hope she knows all their Latin names too, call herself an expert?!! She told me it was a relatively quiet day but I think it may take a while for her to make an impact in our hobby as nobody else does it quite like her. It was quiet but she told me her day had not been wasted. She accepts that the first time at an event is usually not brilliant but I hope she will come next year and do well.
