WillTEF20
This is my latest and most complex build to date, As you can see from the pictures it is totally scratch built, apart from the rams which I sourced from a scrap loader. All I have to do now is to build a head and the linkage that connects the head the the arm, build the stands and to paint it. Any questions just ask, comments welcome Old britains head to show how it will look

Fenside MF
that's one hell of a build Will, I've always wanted a decent flail arm but haven't the skills. How manys hours have you put in to making it so far if you don't mind me asking?
WillTEF20
Thanks for all the comments it's really appreciated! I started and finished the head yesterday but didn't have chance to get any pictures as it was so cold over the shed! Jamie, I haven't been keeping count but if I had to guess it would probably be getting towards 12-13 hours spread out over te last 3 weekends! Will hopefully have the construction complete this week then paint on this weekend depending on the weather!
Niels
So one question springs to mind. Do you really use drill bits for making the turning points or are they temporarily? It's a lovely model, fantastic how you can construct machinery out of plasticard. Wish I had that gift!

WillTEF20
Cheers for all comments everyone! Finished the majority of the construction off now just waiting on paint before I put the pipes and the guards etc! Here are the final assembly pictures, still undecided on what tractor to stick it on was hoping the UH Massey 6170 was out as I think it would look smart on that. Comments always appreciated! That's all until I get it all painted up! Enjoy
