bluegreen
No thanks Joe, I sold my 8220 on without ever taking it out of its box, just didn't take to it...………...an impulse buy...……………………...have to say im much happier with my 6170 convo, somehow the 6200/ 8200s never quite had the same appeal once the silver bonnet/ radiator grill surround was replaced with a red one. damu04
Just got my 1490 today (thanks Brushwood) and have to say it was worth the wait! Very detailed model. I should think that UH could milk this and who’d blame them. Not only can you get the 1494 in both colours but add different bonnet and cab and you could have numerous 12 and 14 series Browns too - save me the effort of conversion. Happy to take a couple of skid units for those who are buying just for cab.

SPN
I knew if I waited long enough they would make this version. Now I just need a lime spreader from the same era to go with it.

CMB
Mine arrived yesterday, and here it is next to my old unfinished 1690. The mirrors are fragile, I snapped one off when I was trying to untie the securing wires. There is one slight issue in that the levelling box stops the stabiliser bar and therefore the right hand lower arm lifting fully, making it look a bit lop-sided. Also looking for a pin for the drawbar. The cab is excellent and I might get a second to replace the cab on the 1690.

Very similar Explorer cabs! (https://dbtc.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=8646) I was hoping Martyn Reeve would make some more 100 series Marshalls with this release. ford/nh fan
Quote I think they are great models , its great that they are doing these tractors and others . its a shame we didn't have these around in the eighties when I was a kid . I know they might not be perfect in every detail but neither were the models/ toys from the 70's 80's . I'm just happy we can get them now .
