Great reviews, photos and opinions everyone. Agreed, i think Uh has done a excellent job on the county, i am very pleased with mine. With the 90 series case-db versions coming soon and the 700 series fords we are in for a few more treats this year i hope. I will certainly be purchasing one or 2 of the DBs and the fords with the hope that Uh and other model manufactures produce more classics, if they need any ideas i would advise a county 1184 to start with then a leyland 272 or marshall 804 , roadless 115/118/120, ford 4000/4600, i could go on!!. tabmodels
With regards to rear wheel position, UH isn't too far off the real thing to be honest, the 1174 always did seem to have a bit of over hang at the rear with the wheel hugging the door, only slightly exaggerated by UH but then every millimetre counts at that scale
justy 46
Nice comparison . As good as the DBP County’s are. The 1174 seems to sit very low compared to the others & it shows in the pics above. A set of rims from any Britains 4 pot Ford ...wheel weights or not and sprayed in the Ford grey would look well under the UH County ...but as John says... pulling one apart is not always a great idea. Better just leave it be. I would be happy with it as is ..
Steve P
Yep, the wheels on mine are staying put, punctures or cracked rims aside

I'm guessing the tyres are bigger than 16.

Udimore
Don't forget there was two versions of the DBP 1174 The second version was amended as Dave was never happy with how the original sat so Mr Osbourne and co commissioned the amendments Will have to dig out both models for the changes when i have time

tabmodels
So here's mine with Britains 5000 wheels and tyres, front wheel weights mud guard antenna and reworked door mirrors. Will probably add rear reflectors below tail lights next. Air pre-cleaner also got a touch of black and silver. A great little model from UH, very pleased with it, only one annoying downside, those bloody assistor rams popping out every time!

F8N
Thought I'd share a few pics of mine along with some opinions.. Let's start with the bad... I noticed everyone mentioned the arm lock doesn't work.. I took mine apart and sprayed some furniture polish on the moving parts to make it glide more easily.. The trick is to try and move it frome side to side all in one piece if that make sense... It would appear that it swivels.. Ie.. The end your finger and thum grab moves but the end at the base of the model doesn't.. You have to try and slide it over from the base end keeping it paralell as it goes and it does work albeit not as effective as a weise toys model.. I think there's room for improvement here.. But Im very grateful for the huge strides uh have taken away from their standard 2 point linkage. I must agree with the other main fault that is the rear wheels are ever so slightly to far forward but I can live with that.. Tyres... I'm sure as some have already shown are quite an easy fix.. F8N
Now for the Good... Well 1st off I think its a great model overall decently priced especially if you want an alternative! It is a lovely piece I have to say... All the more so because its a county.. I think it captures the real deal quite well.. And pribobky as good as what's out there.. The box alone is worth collecting.. The detail on the front axle and inside the cab is great.. Its got a steering axle which is very impressive imo free rolling wheels glazed lights and a nice paint job.. I know the greys not right but again an easy enough fix.. Its also got great detail I side the cab..
F8N
Verdict? I really like this model.. For the money you can't go wrong.. It may have other faults people more familiar to the real machine will notice but I think this has got to be one of uh better tractors.. Considering the more realistic 3point linkage it's deff on part with their 7810.and I'll be adding more to my collection.. I love it.
