powerrabbit
Went to the local market and bought 5 hens for £2 each. Very cheap for point-of-lay. They have a poultry market every fortnight from March to October.
The Tractor Twitcher
Spent the day muddied up and drenched through to my eyeballs at a local young farmer's club ploughing match on land overlooking Castle Howard. Conditions weren't great which was a bit frustrating after the pleasant week's weather we've had around here, although the turn out of entrants was decent all things considered. Caught up with quite a few mates I haven't spoke to in a while and just about managed to take some photographs which i'll post later on.
