Hi guys,

I am going to be moving overseas at the end of this year, so I am having to down size my collection and give up scratch building for the time being.

I have gone through my spare parts today to start thinning down the collection.  The intention is to sell these items on ebay, but I thought I would see if anyone on the forum has any interest.  PM me if you have any interest

Items included in the pictures:

Ertl Case RowTrac Tracks

Wiking Fend 936 Wheels x 2

UH Deutz TTV Wheels x 2

UH MF 8690 Wheels

I have seen how small my flat is likely to be in Hong Kong, so I am going to have to sell a few more items.  In the end I think I might have to sell most of my collection, doh.

Let me know if anyone has any interest in the set of two Britains Sheds along with a JD9560R and JD 8960.  Unfortunately I don't have the box for the 8960 but I do have the box for the 9560R.

Most of the items from the above pics are still left, let me know if there is any interest.

I am visiting farms in US, Brazil and Argentina through the next couple of weeks, so I apologise in advance if I am slow to reply to messages.  When I return from this trip I will be putting all the remaining items on EBAY.

After visiting the Spalding show last month for the first time in 5 yrs, I came back inspired.  So in spite of our forth coming move overseas I thought I would try to get some projects finished.  Nothing is actually finished as yet, but I will be travelling for the next month so not likely to get much more done this side of the new year, so I thought I would share a few updates now.

The first item is inspired by another members build on here (hope they don't mind), a conversion of the UH Vaderstad.  Also, I have nearly finished my JCB teleporter conversion.

Next up is my John Deere DB44 Planter, quite a lot of work is still required on this.  I think I may need to remake the tanks as they haven't come out exactly as I would have liked.

Finally, there is a conversion that I am just starting.  I am in the process of building a Sumo Versa Drill, I have made good progress over the last couple of weeks, but I need to attach the press wheels and add the front subsoil tines.

looking  good, how easy do you find getting materials out there??

There are lots of model shops, so it is quite easy to get plastics, mainly evergreen from the US.

I have found some quite cheap models out here by ordering on TaoBao (Chinese Ebay)  For example, I got the Holmer Sugarbeet Harvester Brand New for 280RMB recently.

Good to see you back on here and building stuff. Your topocs always drew my attention. Remember your grain storage bins, always liked the way you built them. Larrington trailer looks great, good solid kit that company makes.

Thought I would share a quick update with the latest progress on the Ejector Chaser.  The chaser only really needs decals now, unfortunately all the shops near me have run out of stock of decal paper for laser printers.  So it may be waiting some time.

I have also been working on an articulated lorry conversion, it is based on a 1/32 scale Chinese model of a lorry with container trailer.

  • The detail on the lorry is very nice especially seeing as it only cost 280CNY.

This an update on the progress I have made on the Standen T3 Potato Harvester.  I have also nearly finished the baselier front topper.
