Lady Ferguson
The team at Holly Farm started harvesting today. They all felt a bit left out because they couldn't enter the silage making comp :'( But, nevermind, they consolled themselves with a bumper crop of Brussels Sprouts instead: And here is Delores and Ricardo loading up the truck, so that Delores can deliver the produce to the local hotels: Finally, here is Delores, who (having passed a very difficult tractor driving test) is now allowed to drive a proper tractor (that one is especially for 'you know who', as a consolation prize for not having a kitten named after him!) PS I don't anything about this MF Siku tractor - so any info you guys have (year??? etc would be great)

I'm not sure of the year.. but my guess is mid 90's possibly earlier than that... I am sure some of the Siku specialists on here will know... The more I see Delores... the more I fall deeper in love with her... ESPECIALLY in a red tractor

Lady Ferguson
Not happy with it really - I have a bit of a dilemma between using my Floral Garden veggies as part of the layout and having to chop bits off to make it work, or contenting myself with using the beds that they came with. Trouble is they are quite hard to get hold of and therefore very pricey
Old Ford
Mandy could you not use some 3mm mdf paint it brown drill some small hole for your britains veg plants, they then can be cut to any size. that keeps your britains beds cut free. plus you could put some tea over the beds for earth. Lady Ferguson
Yes, I am sure I can do something sort of semi-permanent without damaging the FG bits - I'll have to think on it

Lady Ferguson
Work has now begun on the site for the Holly Farm Shop. Old Farmer Palmer's cottage has been bulldozed to make room for the shoppers car park, but he didn't mind as he thought it was time to move on anyway: And part of the land being utilised was originally part of the bungalow garden... but the it was all getting a bit much for retired Farmer Rick and his Mrs, especially as they jet off to warmer climes every winter: The summer flowers are in full bloom now too: That's all for the minute... until the newly seeded grass is ready... and then the farm shop building will be put up.
