tied in to fnhirs best tractor topic

for you whats the best implement britains has produced so far

for me the ransoms spud harvestor, superbly detailed if a little fragile working belts spins for road transport, in its day to me it was real, a proper show of what britains of old could do in a toy,

Well for me.... it has to be the MF muck spreader.... I'm not sure why... but I really love it.. that moving belt.. and it's got Massey Ferguson on it  ;D

Mind you... the 200 trailer takes some beating as well - robust and functional  :-\

i agree Sean, that was one classy piece of kit!, went well with the MF200 trailer!. Mashio power harrow was good as was the Massey drill, Everad sprayer as well.....hours i would spend with them ;D......sure there are others :-\

I would say the maschio power harrow but i never owned this when i was younger but always wanted it. My favourite out of what i had was the W. Cooper folding discs, nothing special but there was just something about them i liked especially hooked up to my 145-14 :)

I like the Super Faun potato harvester, and the Benac 3000 wagon, don?t know why, maybe the excitement, from playing whit them, whit out breaking them  :)

I'd agree with Sean on the spud harvester, closely followed though by the Accord air drill.

The Nordsten drill would have fair higher if not for the silly bout markers on it!!

Yeah the mf spreader is good along with the 130 drill and all sorts but to me the ransoms spud harvestor is uh quality years before uh came about pinicle of britians hey day 2 me

Take a look at this and tell me you don't love it  :-*

it is a good model and the way it looks and the way it all works i think it was ahead of its time that is why i also think it is one of the best implement to date

I have to admi that I am surprised at the response the Simba Solo has got. It does look good admittedly but it doesn't fold up properly  :-\

The square balers when they worked (depended on what your Mum had for a living-room carpet we always said)

and the Lister bale elevator.

You could bale and stack hay all day, just like Dad.  :)

I can remember always having to have a buckrake on our model farm. I think we always had a buckrake and an MF 135 as "constants" on our carpet farms.
