bluegreen
Those Kubota wheels and tyres would make a great set of conversion donors for virtually any make.............................all you need is the spray paint of choice They would be perfect for the forthcoming Ros Fendt718 that's for sure. bluegreen
And so work begins on making my new farm layouts ploughing tractor......................Only true classics need apply for a place on it
bluegreen
I'm looking at the rear linkage Mark, but I might go for a well positioned screw to properly hold it in a lifted position when in transport with implement. To replace the linkage is an added hassle as I'm already modifying wheels, changing tyres , raising fenders, cutting off rear fender extensions etc etc.....................And I need it for ploughing the carpet ASAP
Anderson Agri
Been trying to fix up the Britains DB996, added new rear wheels from a scrap 5610 and they suit it in my opinion, also made the axle shorter and more realistic, whats left to do is paint the rear wheels and get a new front axle as i'm not keen on the current one. Will also be looking to add a proper 3pt linkage to the rear at some point. (Sorry for lighting its been sorted, was also raining at the time which doesn't help) Edited August 9, 2017 by Anderson Agri
Wayne D
Hope to add a bit of weathering to this later, when the paint dries.

I need to find a front axle and some paint to finish it off, cab does look a bit chunky but will do
Tractorman810
only at mock stage now, will be a mf550 when finished ,i have the rear floorpan sat right which it wasnt last night, and i still need to reshape the front of the bonnet and reduce the front grill height wise ,bottoms of the real ones have a upwards slope on the side pannels , taken about an 2 hrs work so far as off out again in a minute, had all the parts sat waiting and the recent mf550 topic spured me into action, will be a one off for now , but i may yet do a loader version some time in the future
