  4. shes a 120, 4000hrs on the clock, was stuck between this, a fh 135 and a very very nice zaxis, decided in the end zaxis was just too dear, and the fh135 was too far from home so bringing it back here would be too expensive when comparing it against this one. shes a 99 so i guess well see where well go from here, we have our own job going on at the moment that will take approx 2 years to do but im going to try and do a bit of work on the side with her as well and see how it fares out
  5. yeve seen most of these before but i was bored today so here they are again

  7. i agree, i only have one other siku tractor at the moment but i can say il defidently be getting that. love the wide tyres. theres some really nice fendts out there now. any one know is the wiking fendt 936 on general sale yet?
  8. ya it was, i defidently couldnt be bothered going to all that effort. their argument was they couldnt afford a new one so just made an old one look like a new one instead
  9. not exactly Luke its actually for the most part a 00 reg jd 6950. the back end was raised by fabricating new higher panels just behind the cab and a frame made up to accomodate the 7500 series panels. there is actually a hole about a foot deep around the shoot which shows clearly how much it was raised, this space is handy for storing tools etc. the cab is the original 6950 one, while the lights etc are from the 7500 series and fixed into a new on site fabricated curved housing similar but not identical to the 7500's. she then was fitted with on site made rails on both sides and given the big red spray job and name changing. so in essence theirs a bit of a jd 6950, jd 7500, case brand and claas excellence in her. jason and Texas this is the machine for ye
  10. heres a better picture of it in the open sent to me last week. its a totally hybread machine, they titled it a case 7550 red i . the funny bit is they hate claas but yet went to the trouble of putting a picture of a jaguar on it with red eyes exactly like the one on the claas green i machines. sorry the pictue is a bit small but it was reduced to this size in the email, il ask him to email me a bigger version of it. i have to say it turned out well and is trully a unique machine with a very interesting backround
  11. what if you got a dremel with a steel head, then use the proper one closer to the edges etc?
  12. some of them look like they were spotless Stephen must have cost a bomb? why not make a header for chopping wood and how about one for cutting elephant grass that would be cool
  13. tyro toys have it advertised on their site for €75 with the arez, thats steep enough in price. will it be available on its own without the arez?
  14. looking at track machines have a final one pretty much picked out, just waiting on my mechanic friend to give it a quick look over and the all systems go. also went about hiring a 3 tonne mini digger and rock breaker for next week
  15. i actually think they look nice if i get them it would be more for display then anything else
  16. thanks but i think your being a bit too generous with your estimations of me, there wasnt much to doing that drill at all. ive decided to change it now slightly but havent got around to doing anymore to it, my biggest problem i have, is ive no space for even attempting any conversions or building so end up loosing patience in it and saying ill come back to it "sometime"
  17. was looking at these on the tyro toys site last night, and wondering to myself would they be a sought after model. what are yere opinions
  18. o thats right forgot about that, it turned out great. if you decide you want to sell the 8170 il buy it
