  1. I had hoped to share 6 new model arrivals this week. How many have come... None.
  2. Hermes. Had a model sent last week, tracking showed it was out for delivery from about 09.20 yesterday morning, but it didn't come all day. Remained the same until 14:37 today when it changed to 'delivered' I was out the back washing the cats litter tray around then but didn't hear the door, there has been no card put through and nothing with the neighbours. I am wondering if its still in their depot or van though as the out for delivery thing changed at the same time, and I thought you normally had a photo of where they'd left the parcel.
  3. Just popped up as news story on my phone, Case IH have developed the 4000 series combine for the African/Russian/Chinese/Middle East Market....amazing to see the basically same shape as the original 1400 axial flows still going.
  4. It probably is plastic, maybe with metal chassis. Not sure. Varying prices for the Britain's bobcat but you can be paying £25 + for them these days. One is on ebay but with starting bid of £40!
  5. Ebay is about your best bet, but they don't come up too often (have tried to find one too). If you have no luck, saw on Brushwoods what's new page there are a couple of Burago Bobcats in 1/32, each with a different attachment: https://brushwoodtoys.co.uk/collections/whats-new
  6. I was thinking of getting one of those trailers but £90 is a bit more than I'd want to spend.
  7. They say on the Facebook page that it will be 're-created' - I assume that means they will retool it, and it won't be the old one in a new box. I hope they make a decent job of it (no Siku front hitch please) as I'm surprised no one else has done that Valtra model so far.
  8. Britains have been running a poll on Facebook to find out which of their classic models could be relaunched next year. The options were David Brown 990, Ford 5000, Massey 6140, and Valtra Valmet 8000. The Valtra won surprisingly.
  9. A very decent model John, I did have one but collection size had got out of hand so I got rid of it. Good price too

    Ros 2021

Also tempted Jack, though never seem to have much luck with Ros models
  11. I got a Britains Claas Xerion a while ago, and decided to get one of these Siku Maize levellers to go with it and make use of the reverse drive. It wouldn't fit on the linkage but after some persuasion with a hacksaw it fits a treat. Need to get a suitably decent cultivation rig for it at some stage as well.
  12. Maybe they will update the TM420 to the TM420s, may see more Claas stuff now they have the licence. I've expected them to release the new shape Defender as well.
  13. I know the next show isn't until Feb 22 but are we having any thoughts as to what might appear model wise? Surely Marge would be doing the Claas Trion combine?
  14. I'm assuming they've phased them out on the Lexion range, just reading the article on the Trion in the latest Farm Machinery Journal, it appears there is a Montana variant for the 530, 650, 660, 720, 730, and 750 Trions, only the 520 and 640 aren't available as hillside models (or Terra Trac for that matter). So the most powerful straw walker hillside machine has 408hp on tap, and the 750 has 435hp, not sure how that compares with the previous Lexion Montanas but I expect anyone replacing their old machine would need to look at the new range. The new name is better (it was the name of one of Doctor Who's companions home planet in the 1980s as well 😀) , I was never overly keen on Tucano as a name.
  15. Is there a Montana version of the current generation of Lexions, or do you have to get a Trion if you want a hillsider?

    Ros 2021

Black T7.260 now showing on Toys Farm, Ltd Ed of 999.
  17. Looks a lovely job mate. I have been thinking about adding a vintage tractor to my layout (whenever that might appear) and not sure whether to get that one or a 35X.
  18. Do the wheel weights on the Wiking 936 (and later 939) come off or are they moulded to the rims? I've seen this weathered example in Model Farmer mag, but it may just have the rear wheels off an 828?

Yes, that's true, will be a different style to what you would get over here. I saw a YouTube video which featured a couple of 10Ts which were going out of the dealers with Geringhoff draper headers, and another one from Denmark of N MF 9T with a MacDon draper...harvesting grass seed. It's good to see Ros have partially Americanised the Ideal, though I think they would be more likely to have duals than tracks over there?

I suppose they are very different to the flex headers you see over here...pity Ros haven't made one like they did with the maize header.

The same site also displaying a Fendt 9T with a Maize header too...and in an issue of Model Farmer a few months ago, there was a review of the 9T with both the grain and maize headers - but it also had the opening grain tank, where previously the Fendt and MF 9T's had the permanently open tank. I'm not sure when they changed them, was it around the time the 7 and 10T models came out? I doubt the Dynaflex header would be released on its own - though my preference would still be for a wheeled MF 7 with a 30' header...though I doubt that will happen now. I thought the Dynaflex might not have been as wide as the Superflow, but I'm not so sure now.

https://www.outbacktoystore.com/1-32-Fendt-Ideal-9T-with-Dynaflex-Grain-Header Just saw this on ebay/Outback Toys...wasn't aware of it before, but I think that header looks a bit better than the Superflow I've got for my 10T. Would be good if it was going to be released on its own.
  23. Yes, I have a horrible feeling it will have the usual wide spaced wheels, as per their other big Deeres. But would be nice to be wrong
