  1. Did you write about this chap David, ran it with a Deutz 5130? Nice set up there.
  2. And a Shropshire number plate too I see!
  3. I think the gen 2 had a smaller weight, and the gen 3 had a bigger one like the 818/20. That one looks spot on. The 820's don't come up very often but I hope you find one. I had a white one, didn't keep it though. 818 reasonably close, I managed to get one of those recently. As UH are re-releasing older stuff at present, would make more than few people happy if they did another run of 820's It seems people don't want to let the model versions go in the same way as the real ones.
  4. Good read Phil, is that the Gen 3 716 with a smaller weight?
  5. If you send a PM via Facebook they're very good for responding Chris
  6. I think Wiking made a way better job of the 942 than the 1050, though as picky as it sounds I'm not keen on the lights at the bottom of the grille, when there are 2 more just below, the 1050 doesn't have them so prefer the look of it. That's nothing against the model of course. The 1050 would have been a lot better with at least painted rims, and rear wheel weights, but I think different rims and tyres altogether would have made it a better model. They were having a better day in the office when they designed the 942 model.
  7. I agree with you there David, hopefully they will maximise the casting and do a Mega. 204 would actually be my preference.
  8. I'd love it in Case colours for variety's sake, I have seen a CT5060 working near Wem, Shropshire. Following the IH 2188, hopefully more combines from that era will come to model form, a decent model of an early Lexion would surely go down well too.
  9. Glad you've found one Phil, I think there had been one on ebay a while ago, I have got the 924 but basically same model. This shape 926, is my favourite 900 model.
  10. One of your finest Phil! Looks so much better on the UH wheels. Hopefully the T will revert back to UH and they will do the 5, I was worrying Wiking had discontinued it to update, but they haven't updated stuff like the Claas Arion so hopefully will be UH.
  11. For some reason, very few Valtra models with a front linkage come with weights (possibly the Ros N174?). Anyway, as the Weise Fendt 514s linkage couldnt hold up a cat hair, I've tried it on this T214 and it fits a treat.
  12. Seen on Facebook UH are re-releasing the MF 3080 this year
  13. This looks like a decent little implement, ideal for putting a cover crop in, I'll be keeping an eye out for it.
  14. Attached a photo found online of the Landini version. There appeared to be an alarming number of photos of burnt examples in the image search, which may explain why they weren't very popular! Obviously Merlo did a better job!
  15. I asked one of the dealers once and they said they only sold the Turbofarmers, though I guess different dealers might have had more luck selling them. I just cant imagine seeing one ploughing a field somehow. Remember when McCormick and Landini also had a telehandler with 3 point hitch in their ranges? Not sure they were marketed over here either.
  16. Do they even market them over here? I think I saw an old Multifarmer for sale in the UK once but never one of the newer ones.
  17. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294151089953?hash=item447cc56f21:g:w1wAAOSwQVNfHYQS I realise these Britains Kverneland drills seem to be going for a bit of money, but the postage seems a bit steep to me
  18. Dug this out and thought I'd try and improve it. Have started on the hubs but it's been a long time since I did any painting and my hands aren't as steady as they used to be, so will have another try tomorrow. Already looks a bit better. Will get the front linkage off it too soon! The steering beacon will have to go as well, apart from those issues I always thought it was a decent likeness.
  19. Saw a New Holland 8870A on wide boots with an Amazone front hopper/6m combo.
  20. It's been a while, but I've had these 2 attachments for my Claas Scorpion from Olde House Farm models, a bag lifter and grain bucket. Good to see something different on it, I think Wiking missed a trick by not producing some decent alternative attachments for it. The front loader bits looked a bit small to me.
  21. I love those early ones Phil, but the late T3 was a great looking tractor too, I prefer those generations to the T4, but that's still a smart looking tractor. The older ones look awkward with the engine way out in front, but they have some character. Seem to run up the hours too, theres a fairly local farm with an 05 and 06 T1x0, and a 58 plate 191. The older ones look very tatty but still going well. I don't think the M series was popular, and would be interested to know how many of them, and the Valtra C got sold in the UK. I saw something new was being announced today, need to track down the video.
  22. I am fairly sure there was a Starliner at a farm in Clun (South Shropshire) that was replaced with a 5690 HTS (smart looking combine too) but the green ones are very few and fair between. Used to see a good few older, red ones but there arent many of those left either. I know where there is one I will try and catch - a 2680.
