  1. Very nice Phil, those later 716s are very nice, the Generation 1, perhaps not so much. Those tyres suit the 820 very nicely - I like how it looks as though its rearing up slightly. I' ve got a UH 818 stashed away, it would look better with those tyres - whether or not that happens is anyones guess, I shan't make the same error as with the 824 though and flog it!
  2. I do bitterly regret selling the Weise 824, if anyone knows of one coming up for sale do let me know. I know there is a limited edition coming up soon from Toys Farm but I'd want to display the model and not sure it would be right to do so with a rare one.
  3. Glad it's going to stay in one piece Phil. Be interested to see your Ros N conversion, I did see one online somewhere with those UH T3 wheels and it looked 100 times better. Chap had had it painted metallic green too. I may offload the 2 I bought I think.
  4. Have put the Kuhn fertiliser spinner on the Fendt 816, I think it sits a little too far off but I can live with it. It was awkward to attach though, I had to put the hitch onto the linkage and then reattach the spreader afterwards. There wasn't the same hassle with the Valtra T191 it just went on and off. (Hoping the pictures attach)
  5. Nice find Phil, they don't come up very often. I managed to get the blue one from the French ebay seller before Brexit! Are you going to keep it as is?
  6. Does anyone have this set and if so is the driver glued to the seat?
  7. Nipped down to Clun in South Shropshire to pick up a birthday present this morning, spotted this working away on one of the surrounding hills. Not a great photo, was very murky today.
  8. I like that bronze colour, that did appear on the G135, I think it was only available via the dealer. You see quite a few Valtras around with John Bownes stickers on, there is also Edwards and Farmer who sell them, they are a few miles south of Shrewsbury.
  9. I think I like the red one best Phil, am debating whether to get it though. Probably shouldn't debate too long I suppose though.
  10. A great read as always Phil. Did you decide not to include the 926 in the layout in the end?
  11. Paul, have you sold off your fleet? Saw a lot of similar machines for sale on Ebay from a Devon seller?
  12. I haven't posted any images since Sunday, in my sales topic, they were on ok but have disappeared for the moment.
  13. I think even in 'normal' times Britain's always get their releases out just at the wrong time, combines always seem to come out in the autumn!
  14. was it registered late then? seems a very late reg for an 8000, though they did overlap the TX series for a bit I think? E was the earliest TX I saw.
  15. That's very good to hear mate, I will await news!
  16. Got round to getting one of these Joskin cattle trailers at long last.
  17. Ah! Thank you Atte, no you didn't misunderstand- but I could only find pictures of them with black mudguards
  18. I've bought a couple of these Ros Valtra N174s following the A104 I got yesterday. I've deliberated over these for a while as they didn't get the most rave reviews and the back wheels and front linkage don't look right at all. But for £22 each I thought I'd get them and see if there are any ways to improve them.
  19. That's interesting to know Mike - I bought quite a few models from them before Brexit, but wasn't sure what charges there might be. Some good bargains to be had there .
  20. After a long spell not buying anything, have bought 2 models, a Valtra A104 with the loader removed, and the UH Amazone sprayer with front tank (haven't a photo of the actual one). I may not keep the sprayers, not keen on the distance between it and the tractor, not sure yet.
  21. I've been thinking about this topic for a while. I was just admiring my USK Deutz combine and wondering what difference the current C9306 was to the as modelled C9206. Outwardly, they look very similar, besides the 9206 having a black painted area beside the cab on the steps side - on the 9300 it is green. But, looking at pictures of the 9206 taken by David in the March 2021 Farm Machinery Journal, the older model had this green area too! A Google image search turned up what appeared to be a prototype/early combine which did indeed have the black painted area. I had my doubts about the header too - on all the ones I've seen in photos, the drive is on the nearside, whereas on the model it is on the offside...however, the 9m header does not appear to be common, but when you do see it illustrated, it appears to have the drive on the offside whilst on the smaller headers it's always on the other side. Another example of a model, where I cannot find a real example of what has been modelled, is another Deutz, this time its the UH 5245 Agrotron 135 tractor. Its a decent looking model, but can anyone else turn up a picture of it with all green rear mudguards? I can't. Another one - the Ros Dieci telehandler (T90), a nice model but modelled on a prototype with a 3 stage boom that wasn't used on the production model. I'm sure there must be other oddities such as these so please feel free to add! It may be just that I am too nit picky of course.
  22. That was it, assuming it's something with more hp than the 724? 726 possibly?
  23. Saw some photos earlier of a new Fendt 700, on Facebook I think - can't find them now. Still has same cab roof unfortunately!
