  1. I think that's quite a common issue with that seller, and there have been times when they've advertised more than one of a particular item, then you buy it and get a message saying that it's not actually in, will be a few weeks and do you still want it. Last thing I ordered was a UH tractor, outer box was badly crushed but fortunately the model was ok.
  2. Going to use this little DB as a yard tractor, so probably will use with the sweeper pictured and probably a link box. Would it need some front weight added do you think?
  3. Just was wanting to know - the limited Valtra Gs have just come out - weren't there meant to have been an olive green and a bronze coloured version as well? Or did I miss those?
  4. I guess the one I saw probably did most of its work on concrete, and we have had it quite dry for a few weeks so the surface probably wasn't too soft. I think the Britains 542 is a decent model, though, and plenty of them around this neck of the woods, certainly more than Claas Scorpions (current telehandler of choice)
  5. Saw this earlier - I didn't think they did that well in the field with those tyres, but this one must have been getting on ok I never thought to swap the tyres off the New Holland before flogging the JCB!
  6. First pictures of 2021 - had lost camera charger, and eventually found I had left it in the holiday cottage last September! Anyway, here are a couple of Masseys, 7620 and 7616, and a New Holland T7.220 with a West Spreader
  7. He's still active on Facebook. I thought the 542 was a decent model to be fair, preferred the TM420 but the last one I bought was quite badly put together. Shame about the Bibload tyres though.
  8. Sorry James - not least for thinking your profile name is that of a highlighter pen!
  9. I thought it was James (Stabilobros)?
  10. I read that the latest NH telehandlers weren't bad machines, the older ones didn't have the best reputation, and not very many of them around. Still something different to the norm. Nice pictures Phil.
  11. Have you seen many obscure types that might feature in the running reports, or do they tend to be older ones that are more likely to appear in Classic Tractor?
  12. I have enjoyed your combine running reports mate, good to see there are plenty more to report on.
  13. Am looking forward to this release. It wasnt in the recent catalogue but it does appear to be due at some point. (Photo pinched from Farm Models NL)
  14. Seen on Facebook, an Amazone Z-AM 1002 fert spreader with load due out in Q2.
  15. I loved the feature with the Valtras from the same area too, I love landmarks like that and power station cooling towers.
  16. Whilst it's nice to see the rarer makes, that top photo with Emley Moor in the background is fabulous David, great to see, keep them coming.
  17. It was in the local WH Smith's (Shrewsbury)
  18. I've seen some photos of one compared to a Wiking 770, massive thing!
  19. Hope you managed it Andy, doesnt look that easy to smuggle under the bed!
  20. Last 2 purchases for a while, thanks to Andy B. Weise Fendt 308 for the mixed farm, and 514C for the arable side.
  21. I was deliberating over the gen 2 716, but got the Gen 1 instead, and thought it plus the 415 and 818 were a decent line up. I've got a Ros 720 but one of the mirrors sheared off so its in the scrap line now. I'm not keen on the UH model so given up bothering about a current 700 series now. I've seen the Weise 816 might be reappearing shortly but as I am always chopping and changing my stuff I'm going to keep what I have with no new addition for 3 months now. The 2 I am waiting for should finish the fleets off nicely.
  22. I'm going to fit part of the arable farm on top of this small chest of drawers but I'll get a piece of board and hopefully have the buildings on it, depending how much room they take up. Most of the tractor fleet is here, you could call it overkill farm as they are all 240hp+, though am waiting for a couple more tractors, one for each farm to finish them off. There are still some other tractors squirreled away, mainly Valtras, the big Fendt 1000 doesnt have a place at the moment but that may change as I've some changes in mind for it.
  23. No Phil, from left to right is an 818, 716 gen 1 with hedge cutter and 415 on the feeder wagon
