  1. That Deutz 8280 looks far better than all the pics Ive seen online..............but I will wait for the UH version before making a final decision on which one I like best.
  2. Currently their are three Fendt 728s sat in my dealer yard with another one due in 10 day in 1/32 size😄 Also a cute new 211 just right for Trigger.
  3. The biggest of the local big outfits Waldersley Farms were cultivating & drilling behind the Holmer Terra Dos beet harvester. JD 9RX 640 and 12 f plough, 6215R on a lovely 4m pottinger combi drill outfit (UH please make this rig!!) Also a pair of their 8RX 410s lurking, one on a power harrow and the other on a 6m Lemken combi unit( Both out of camera range)
  4. Gearing up for next years rye wholecrop harvest with a CLAAS direct disc and Schuitemaker tri axle trailer.
  5. Put it all together and its a big improvement on the original wheels and tyres. Just need to create the vario grip triangle for the front rims using plasticard and she will be done.
  6. More work on improving the big Fendt 936 Sprayed the rear wheel weights Fendt red, painted wheelnuts silver and centres dark grey. Sprayed front hubs red and over painted hubs grey, wheelnuts silver. Sprayed front rims red, and worked down plastic at the rear of the wheels so the track matches the back wheels.
  7. G W Tophams near Cambridge just got their first black 726 with another due any day😎
  8. Hi Guys, I just ordered a Wiking Fendt 728 from my local dealer. I gave my contact the part numbers on the argitechnica edition boxes of X991022222000 (724) & X991022223000 (728) and he was able to check stock at Fendt's main warehouse. He reckoned there were more than 400 of the 724 & its front loader available and more than a 100 of the more popular 728's. So if you want one go and see your local Fendt dealer with the above part numbers asap and you should get one before xmas🙂 I managed to get mine for under a £100 so pleased with that.
  9. I prefer the black MF7726S It hides the crap job UH did on the cab door pillars by putting black etching on the glazing making the pillars appear far too wide. Also one of the not so local locals was running one on this years maize harvest.
  10. One of the local farmers just outside my village ploughing beet land with JD7R 330 and drilling with brand new Deutz 8280 in java green. Fendt 936 drilling with JD 7R 330 on the power harrow by another local farmer, who were also ploughing with a JD 8370R & one of their NH 7.210s.
  11. New Fendt 0ne 942 getting a tyre and rim upgrade. I'm using a set of tyres off a siku MF 8680 and its front rims. First job was to spray the rear wheels Fendt red and fit new tyres. These catch on the underside of fender, but with some careful sanding with the dremel the tyres soon turn freely. Wheel weights sprayed red, but need some grey paint for the centres. I bought smart foil decals to convert tractor into a 936 model which are more common than 942s round here.
  12. I bought myself one of the new revised 2022 Fendt 942,s Very nice touches in the cab with Fendt One computers. Biggest improvement is the grey radiator hood which replaced the black one on earlier models, makes a big difference in quality of appearance. Still has numb rear tyres and too large front wheel rims. 33mm = 41 inch & not 38inch as on the real thing. I plan to change front rims and all 4 tyres.
  13. 12 minutes Paul, not to brief. Lovely looking tractor though, not far behind the Fendt 942.
  14. Massey Man is on Youtube with a first look around the 9S at Beauvais. I think he is a Chandlers sales Manager. He reckons the tractor won't reach UK farms until late next year.
  15. Just get the wheels and tyres off an 8740S which comes with double wheel weights. correct match. And dont forget to spray rims sapphire grey, UH silver MF rims suck!!
  16. And here's the 2023 Maize harvest.
  17. Nice video this one of their whole forage enterprise, nice kit too.
  18. Yes Jack that 8700 Lex of Olly's has been an absolute star this year, what with the charity run and then all the show appearances plus loads of different crops harvested. Especially that maize crop last week, excellent footage. Yes I am very surprised there aren't a few 960tt at work in the UK by now, as you say maybe next season.
  19. Great video this one, showing the merits of a tracked Jaguar in a wet year. Really impressive and surely a few of these TTs must be in the UK now. Nice mixed MF fleet as well. https://youtu.be/BAaSYA8atjg
  20. Yep the 728's appear to be arriving on either 650/85/ R38 like the one in the picture or 710/70/R42s both of which are too big to fit on the older Gen 6 models. And both those sizes are standard on big JD6Rs so Fendt will no longer be selling a more compact tractor than JD in the 240hp+ sector once Gen 6 builds stop. Mind you Gen7 700s are 60kph so much quicker than Deere.
  21. I bet that twin trac Challenger enjoyed its autumn work load😁
  22. That does look nice, when I see one running locally I will be buying one. There are lots of 8740S around here what with Pretotria Energy running 20 off them now!! So I guess they will be running some 9S fairly soon😎
  23. I took this picture at the local dealers (in heavy rain) of brand new Gen7 Fendt 728 & Gen6 Fendt 724 You can clearly see the size difference here. I would say the 728 is the same size as bigger JD 6R's now.
  24. Meanwhile at the Deere dealers another 6R.185 awaiting collection by Edgeley farms, note that lovely leather seat.
