  1. Last pictures of this years maize were few and far between, thats because H C Beales JD 6R.185s kept getting stuck! They were running three of them with the specialist Dezeure trailers which raise up and then eject their load into a waiting wagon, providing the trailer isn't stuck in the middle of the field that is🙄.......to be fair the going was incredibly soft but the crop had to come off.
  2. That looks good Pete, personally I would swap wheels over from the 7810 and then you get the chunky R38s on the 8400 and the R42 rims on the 7810. Front rims look similar to 7810s so probably leave them on. In these parts 8 series Deeres tended to be shod on 650/85/ R38s and the 7 series on 650/65/R42s. Mind you those rears look more like 710s.
  3. Footage taken near Holbeach in Lincs. Very wet year and desperation has crept in. I believe this is the same farm where I took a distance picture of four 765E Challengers working in the same field, and three 765Cs a few years before that. I photographed three spanking new 940s lined up side by side in Chandlers yard back in June, I bet one of them at least went to this farm. They should have bought a four track, so much better in the wet.
  4. Just placed an order for a few decals, much cheaper price than last time for postage.
  5. What about Farm models NL, I buy decals from them occasionally but the postage is horrendous! However if I bought a model at the same time as decals would that work out better?
  6. Anyone know what the release date is for the Fendt 728? I don't know why the radiator hood is black, its the same colour grey as the side vents & chassis on the real thing. I noticed today that the 942 hood is grey now on the latest Wiking 2023 Fendt one updated model, which matches the linkage & chassis colour and is not black like the 728 above. Which begs the question "why the heck is the 728 black and not grey"??
  7. Probably they would, but I was interested in other german makes that Tractorium will certainly get first before UK.
  8. What are the costs involved of buying from Tractorium these days? Can we still buy from them? Last time I tried they said sorry not dealing with Uk. That was a 18 months ago.
  9. I couldn't be bothered Pete😄
  10. Your joking Pete! Compare the two models above, The UH is far better detailed. Tyres are better, bonnet is super detailed, front headlamps are detailed, Schuco's are just clear plastic☹️. UH rear fenders are nicely detailed & wheels have smart weights on them. Schuco haven't even bothered to paint the underside of the roof black all the way round, UH have. UH front linkage looks nice and sturdy, Schuco's looks flimsy and the rear links are the same as on the old JD 7810s /4955s which are pants! As I said earlier the only good point about Schuco is the the opening cab doors and windows, but thats it. This is definately one of UHs better efforts.
  11. Now looking at the UNIVERSAL HOBBIES version and everything apart from opening doors etc is way better than Schuco version.
  12. Yes Barry, Good idea😄 I see the Deutz is on the Schuco direct sale site but whats the best way to buy one from abroad these days?
  13. Schuco Deutz Fahr 8280 also available now on Tractorium..........................Hmmmmm which should I buy, Schuco with its nicer cab and opening doors and windows and lame rear linkage design🙄 or Universal Hobbies with its superior bodywork but sealed cab. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=369577222094355&set=a.188951156823630&__cft__[0]=AZWgx5OsAlyXUjOafaojUM8hhctfwCKhlMUca_o0DGj82b6i0Ypcb966YuceSl6zFUJUNwz8EewqabIu2AY-Pra36_egjzsUWgiGFOrmP102IL8K2YjLeTh4sZMrkvRscyCfRgbiEVrQLjQ5HiIDl1uaVaUXqmnuwtifwLPrbP6Y6mWyssfI2G0nk5_lukdHdYQ&__tn__=EH-R
  14. Looks like the Schuco Deutz Fahr 8280 version has arrived at agritechnica along with the black UH version. Theres three of these on German ebay.
  15. Yes I was thinking that those wheel weights will be coming off if I buy one, I would replace them with ones off the 8740 as Paul said or also the 7726s as they are the same.
  16. Hi Jamie, Sorry for the delayed response, I got over excited with all the new Agritechnica models😄 The rear tyres are 20mm wide, 60mm tall and the rims are 32mm The front tyres are 17mm x 44mm x 24mm rims. Hope that helps.
  17. The two Deutz Fahr models look really good, although I'm disapointed the black Warrior 8280 is a matt version!!! The Java green looks good and the addition of rear wheel weight and retractable warning markers on the fenders are a nice touch. I won't be paying £200 though, anyone know when these models will be available elsewhere?
  18. Not grey or gold this time but glorious yellow and once more NH wrestle back the crown of the worlds best looking combine from JD & Claas😁
  19. Looking on the UH site they haven't put up the new Agritechnica releases yet, the Puma 260 & its Steyr brother are the most recent. Be nice to get some of these latest releases before all hell breaks loose in the financial world, its getting closer.
  20. Already on sale at the Horsch shop and looking very decent, the Pronto 6DC https://shop.horsch.com/Modell-Pronto-6DC-1-32/60103959
  21. Agritechnica 2023 more video's surfacing as show opens. Smart kit from the biggest names including ...............Golden new CR11 New Holland.
  22. MF 9S official launch video November 12th.....................That does look good doesn't it, now the big cab makes sense.
