  1. Newfie T7070, Fendt 828, or Fendt 936 would be my three choices to put in front of it.

I'm pretty sure I have a brochure for the Someca version that I got at a show in France in the 70s.
  4. Met a truck on the road today with "Humanitarian Aid" written across the front of the cab - and a lowloader with 21 ton track machine onboard hitched on't back.
  5. Fendt 930 with a 14 tonne NC dump trailer behind it. "I feel sorry for that little trailer" as someone said as it left the yard. Fendt 716 drawing silage with a Dooley. Numerous and assorted John Qs with Smyths, Broughan and Dooley trailers on. Claas 870 Greeneye, and Claas 900.
  6. On SPN Farms this will be replacing two Hesstons, and a T6090 will be replacing two Fendt 818s, so I reckon I'll save the €70 on 1:32 wages and diesel in no time.
  7. The back window needs to be gone completely. Otherwise, excellent.

    At work with Gav

The next time FNHIR and I head to Spalding we'll be bringing a set of T6090 decals to slap on that in the dark of night. Whilst I still believe that the best tractors come from Basildon, St Valentin is a close second. Best of luck with it.

I'm just surprised they didn't badge it Fiat/Someca.

I saw a 500 on the road a few weeks ago. Had never seen one before. Spent many a day hanging off the back of a 30 back in the 70s. Superb machine.
  12. Coming from the master, that's a real compliment.
  13. TW-15 and lowloader John Q 6630 and Hardi Commander 3200 John Q 6910 and Hardi Commander 4400 Ford 7840 and trailed Berthoud Case CS and trailed Berthoud
  14. Somebody in the morkeshing department wants it to happen, and they have the budget to make it happen.

    What a wee beastie. *
  16. The Pottinger would be okay for 1980s dioramas. It's been around for quite a while.
  17. The 135 was always a popular beet seeding tractor around here too. For the wheels, I'm thinking the PAVT wheels from the UH 590 might lend themselves to being set at a wider spacing if you are going for a bigger tractor.
  18. Around these parts it was the Webb that was most common - although I think there might have been a connection between Stanhay and Webb.

Soil temps around here only broke through 10 deg C early this week, but the growth in the last few days has been amazing. Prolly 5 weeks before we'll see the rampage starting.
  20. Absolutely awesome Mr P. Can't wait to see the finished item.
  21. The mouse decided to sample the wensleydale cheese I left out for him. The cat is now sampling the dead mouse. Result.
  22. All seen along the N25. Valtra at the Maldron Hotel N25/N11 roundabout. Fendt and John Q at turnoff for Adamstown near Camaross. MX190 at Carrigbyrne, and MX310 at Cushinstown. The guy at Ballinaboola with the 2wd 7840 & TSA135 appears to have traded the 7840 for a 4wd Landini. I hate it when that happens.
  23. Shiny new (unregistered) Magnum 310 and Horsch Terrano. Fendt 930 and Vaderstad Carrier & John Q 7*20 with a cultivator I couldn't quite see. MX 190 & Vaderstad Drill.

Not just a redecal. It also has the mods that the new model has, such as the AdBlu tank.
