On the way home I went to my former blacksmiths to pick up 20 litres of the real old fashioned creosote which they forget to sell at their roup when they retired a few years back

Day 5 Saturday 22 August and I get peace to get on with the job myself today since father and mother are off to the Lonach Gathering at Strathdon

Day 7 Sunday 23 rd August and not so nice weather today

Spare weatherboarding moved to Farmall A shed

Clearing concrete for a level base for assembly of shed. i will be concreting part again later when shed is moved into place but will put in a narrow concrete strip to run jockey wheel of trailer on

Day 8 Monday 24th August and it is looking a fine one to start assembly

What a build... I could easily move in with you Bill... you are a pure perfectionist... I'd haveto change my ways.. but I reckon we'd get on great... I do like tidyness and order with my tools etc.  :)

I've really enjoyed this topic... so thanks for posting... looking forward to seeing the door on and the tractor back home... I bet that creosote smells lovely as well  :)

I'm glad you liked the topic Mark and yes I have to agree that old fashioned creosote has a lovely smeel just have to watch and not get it on your skin and let the sun shine on it or it burns like fury ;D ;D

Some very fine work going on there Bill, the same immaculate attention to detail that's gone into your tractors, looking forward to seeing the end result. :)

Thanks David I'm looking forward to getting it finished however in September I have the Scone Palace rally at Perth one weekend and the Scottish national Tractor Show at Lanark on another and also possibly a one day working day up near Inverness so this will no doubt slow done the progress. Another weeks holiday would have been just fine ;)
