bluegreen
Now thats more like it, why didnt they just show that version first Thats what I expected originally and if as Malcy says a graintank "hat" can be made to sit on the top of it in July August and filled with sand that would be good enough for me to buy one too

Niels
I thought that the Claas Jaguar 695 with maize header was a limited edition and the grass one the regular? Can't see any limited information on the box though.

Can't see any limited information on the box though. Not seen any grass ones for sale yet - I think the maize header was the "limited" (if 3,000 pieces is limited!) edition put on sale at Agritechnica. I could be wrong, however... /m. Niels
Have not seen the grass version as well. Don't think it is out yet. Nice model but the rear axle is fixed sadly and a four row chain header on a 695? Could have handled a six I think. Siku's 695 Mega had it. mrol
Can someone just remind what it was about wheels and the 12m vario again......
Barry
Yeah, Claas sell combines with wheels or tracks on the front, and you can order it with a 12m header. Because you can't buy certain combinations in certain countries, the model industry (Norev in this case) must rethink it's whole approach to the way the UK client recieves it's models, to make them happy, disregarding the majority of the European model buying market! malcy_p
I'll be getting the Jag and the Lexi too, after all, I simply don't have enough Claas machinery in my collection! /m.
schw84
In fairness, if you were going to get the 770 with a 12m header you arent likely to have it on wheels. nevermind the fact that theres alot of bounce with tyres compared to tracks and it could possibly cause the header to dig in, but if your going to spend that much money on a combine, your probably bothered about soil compaction and a quick turn around. If you dont want to be pulling too much up and have a oe pass you would probably get tracks to save you time???
