jdc
Well with these long dark nights I thought I'd have a go at my drilling tractor c1991. The Ritchie front presses were very popular here at the time and did a good job - filled with water they were about 500kg. There's still a few little bits'n'pieces to tidy/touch up on the tractor. It's all brass which I find I like working with these days.

jdc
Assuming you are using solder.. how do you get one with it mate Getting better is about the best I can say. To be honest some of the fiddly wee bits are stuck on with epoxy. Nothing worse than soldering one end of something and the other end drops off. blimey thats nice , will we be seeing a drill to go on the back to then??? Got the dimensions of a Khun/Accord DA, so will have a go at some stage. Thank you Bill, Johnny, Robert and David

jdc
Thanks Joe - I saw them at Penrith on Ian's (farmmodelspares) stand and thought they'd just be right. I think they're from a Claas Volto.

jdc
Thanks everyone. So the theory about heat travelling is correct after all John ;D I've got the burnt fingers to prove it! very nice like the change to the back linkage I just moved the existing PTO plate forward by cutting the back of the gearbox off and added arms.
