SHAWN
Thank you all !!! this one was defently the most challenging conversion i've done ,I think the decals from Henri walker finish it off nicely , I've got the bug again now, so think when time allows a TW 15 2wd might be in order , as for your question John , I think she'll go in the cabinet as she is
Hicksy
That is a great looking tractor big thumbs up to you , I used to drive my dads when I was a boy , great tractor when it was going , sadly it kept ripping the rear half shafts in half and splitting the rear dishes , i would like to see you add some old school front weights to it ,
SHAWN
cheers phillip , I can remember when I was a lad down in Devon , a contractor was hauling soil away from local a building site with one of them ,I can still see it now steaming up over the village hill with a load on belching out black smoke, I thought about adding some weights to it , but quite like it without them
Hicksy
Here's the old mans , can you see she is sporting a home made front weight frame to carry his drawbar and fergie weights.
justy 46
One of the local contractors in my area who run a fleet of big NH T7s still have their old 8100 (with a TW-25 ENGINE!!!!) stashed away in the back of one of their machinery sheds with the hopes of bringing the old beast back outa retirement someday . The ran lots off big Fords up threw the years including lots of 7600's & 7610's, 8210's,7910's & TWs which all moved on, but the mighty 8100 stayed & will never be parted with!! Its main job was mowing silage with a JD 1360 mower conditioner with a Fiat Hesston 7725 harvester picking up after it. Before the Hesston came the 8100 was picking up with a NH 719 . Niels
A lovely model, she looks very good. Well done, you can be proud! My only comment would be that the decals might appear a little large? (The font) but it's still a stunning build.
justy 46
A lovely model, she looks very good. Well done, you can be proud! My only comment would be that the decals might appear a little large? (The font) but it's still a stunning build. Its hard enough to get the decals spot on at times in terms of size & font style. These are pretty good all the same. Ive seen decals on Ford convos made by well known tractor model specialists ( Ill give no names) !! that look horribly bad & they do be asking big money for the models. 3 figure sums mostly!!! If they want to sell them for the prices they ask for ,you would think they would make a better effort. And others get them spot on for smaller money !!!. SHAWN
Thanks for all the comments , as you say niels the decals may be slightly on the large side , but that is down to my measurements , should've gone 1mm smaller I think , but the quality of them is spot on , and they where very well priced , yes sean I used plasticard and filler in the end , first time ive used both and was very pleased with the outcome
Niels
I think if you correctly measure up everything from 1/1 some things just don't look right and mainstream manufacturers will alter bits to make it look better. It's still a lovely build though! 8200 next?

SHAWN
Another project that I finished today was this 8100 , it was going to be a TW 15 but the bonnet didnt quite turn out as planned , so thought I'd make use of the spare decals I had and make another one , its pretty much the same as the first one ,except for the exhaust , air cleaner and some different weights etc , here's some pictures of the pair of them
