tabmodels
Bit of tweaking done to the hopper, will also get a rear hatch with wheel later. Conveyor frame and rear mechanism checked for fit before moulding and casting the parts. As there is no engine hood on this build, I've added some extra detail including the air cleaner cylinder and radiator cover.
Stabliofarmer
Took abit of digging but eventually found them, turned out there was 160 pictures! Tractorman810
thats coming along nicely now ian, i can remember seeing one of them down mid devon way many years ago, not long after i started work, i guess if only three got made it must have been one in the pics. its about the only area i tend to see lime spreading going on, even now down here. tabmodels
Extended air filter added and battery tray. Loading arm will be made to fit in between. Thanks again to James (Stabilofarmer) for providing detailed images otherwise this would have been guess work! Spreader frame further detailed and painted. tabmodels
Work started on arm and arm mount, frame is extended forward and connected to spreader frame allowing the whole thing to be removed as one piece. The movement of the arm wasn't clear to me when studying the pics but after building it, it's quite an ingenious design and works very well. tabmodels
Thanks Brian, not out of the woods yet though, still got the tricky clamshell bucket to sort out
tabmodels
First attempt at clamshell bucket. As the real thing has way too many linkages and pivots to cram into the tiny bucket (tried and failed), I decided to settle on a simple design that allows the buckets to open and close. I will further refine this design to look more realistic. Also couldn't resist trying on the terra tyres
