A few technical drawings revealed a longer skid unit than that of the 1174 tractor. A spacer is located between the gearbox and rear end providing enough room for the side mounted fuel tanks between the wheels, and at the same time, increasing the capacity of the load frame. Lengthened skid unit and 6 cylinder engine pieced together with resin parts.

It has indeed, a truly ground breaking machine, I bet they were  great fun to pilot. A fantastic machine.

Yes definitely one of my favourites, I'm sure County's bouncing habits are well amplified sitting up front :D

Highly looking forward to seeing how this turned out!

I was tempted to message you if i get a bit of money to have one made but seeing you've already got the idea :D

It will indeed be a popular one Zac, I'm going to do my best to make a batch of these when this one gets done

There was a post on Facebook about them the other day, i'd love an earlier shaped one with demount sprayer and fert spreader would look mint! A 5th wheel attachment to hook up a shawnee poole dump trailer would also be a nice addition but can't have everthing ha ha!

I think the first one ( the 1004)  with the sprayer Zac belongs the Billy Coleman ,,,a famous rally driver from Millstreet  which is not very far away from myself , His family own one of the local New Holland dealership also here in my area .

strange machines them fc1174’s always looked a lot less usable compaired to the 1004’s , the 1004’s always seem to look right with kit mounted on the back , like that sprayer or bredel hopper, still a good  looking build your doing mind, different ,domt really recal seeing one done  before

Be an impressive build  Ian, look forward to seeing it, was one around Garstang quite a few years ago with bolsters across the rear load space for carrying timber, i spotted it twice, once parked up and then once loaded  heading out of the Scorton turning back on to the A6 at Cabus, if i hadn't of been in the works van and had the workshop manager with me at the time i'd have played that little game called "follow that Tractor" :)
