Anderson Agri Posted September 14, 2018 Share Posted September 14, 2018 Near board i was working on nearly finished, just need to add ballast to the track and glue the fences in, put all the stock net on the fence then realised i'd put it on the outside not the inside... As for the wire netting, which side of the post it goes on depends on whose fence it is, obviously for your own internal fields it doesn't matter, but for boundary fences, the wire is on the field side of the post of whose responsibility the fence is, if it is your fence it will be on your side of the post, if the fence belongs to your neighbour then it will be on their side. SPN Posted September 16, 2018 Share Posted September 16, 2018 I had lots of success with Halford's yellow spray paint on the two truck kits, but not having much success with the brush and enamel on this kit. It's driving me nuts. Although it does look better in the photo than in real life. Not sure if I ever specified any projects, but I have been upping my game recently! Got quite a scare tonight though, so I'm going to leave it for today at least. My scalpel broke off and plunged into my eye before bouncing towards the floor, went so fast that I'm not sure whether I closed my eyes fast enough or not. A bit dulled perhaps, slightly too much pressure and of course my safety goggles were on the table right next to me in stead of on my face Not sure if the blade hit anything with the sharpest end, a bit sore but other than that no visible marks on the eye luckily. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Stabliofarmer Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 (edited) I'm still chipping away at learning to sculpt, latest bits are two sheep from scratch rather than based on a Britain's, a Lonk Ram, and a texel ewe. Quite pleased with the lonk other than the head being a little too wide. The texel on the other hand has far too large a head, and is too big scale wise overall, though I think I've got the basic shape correct. Would love some honest opinions. 844john Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 (edited) Can't say about the lonk James, but we've been using and breeding Texels for about 30 years now, so I've spent a good few hours looking at the things! Yes, I think the head is slightly too large for a female, but you've certainly captured the essence of the breed- put him a set of stones on and he'd make a good representation of a tup!
