I drove past Manns last week and they have them in stock at Saxham... I didnt post this post the other day as it was Martyn who was selling the item and wanted him to get a good price, but if any of you want another ring them up and I think they will post them to you.. I only went in there to buy a 770... I was shocked how cheap they were.

I don't know if this is a crazy price for this model given its condition but its way above what I would have been willing to pay for it. i wonder what it will close at

oh my god!! how much. i think if i was going to spend that amount of money on a model i would be talking to udimore about a miniaagripassion or couple of pdc models. how much will this model be worth in another 10 years? will it be a good investment?, still, obviously someone wanted it bad enough. they must be chuffed with it.

Interesting item, can't say i've seen too many.

I belief there were at least two of these in the Niels Fisher collection? Would be interesting to know if anyone kept the auction results.

Nearly double what I would rate it at in the present climate. Absolutely tip top ones were going for top side of £350 - £400 a few years ago, but Britains values have certainly fallen back quite a long way in the last 2 or 3 years.

He does describe it as ex shop stock, and they don't come up all that often, but very high even so :- . The three in the Nils Fischer sale made £150, £150 and £160 respectively (approx £187, £187 and £200 with fees), which was a bit on the low side. Oddly the two lower valued ones were the rare olive brown one and a blue with the rare green plastic farmer :of Even the very rare metallic blue one in the set with the horsebox only made £200 (£260 with fees). The olive brown one in a similar set only reached a final bid of £190. (All the previous auction catalogues are available on the Vectis website, although you have to register and log in to see the prices realised - http://www.vectis.co.uk/Page/Index.aspx )

£461 is definately over the top (a bit of an anomalous value similar to the Britains Fordson Super Major in the Nils Fischer sale which made over £1600 including fees :of), but if you are desperate for one that is mint and in a mint or near mint box, they don't appear very often.

Ohh my god!!! A Ertl John Deere 7410 just went for £51!!! The person who bought it obviously wanted it. I bought one for a fiver (mint In box) Think I might sell it if they are making that much

i know the guy from stranrear who bought this he is on another forum and plans to cast the bonnet off this with the engine detail

Surely these ones are not worth this much. Out from 1988 to 2005. I have 3 but I only paid around £ 9 on average.

I've noticed these making good money recently and can't really understand why.

This casting has been about for years and yet the Claas variations still seem to command good prices.

Would be interested to hear why people think this is the case.

James the only reason I bought a third was I had one, and then one shop was doing a special deal with a JD tele-handler strapped to it. The third one was old stock sitting at BA Stores and well had my name written on ot ;D ;D

I cannot believe it...is this a Grays of Fetterangus (1972) Limited buck rake in brown and un-boxed really worth the current bid of £ 37.00. I thought they were number 9543 not 9561 and only out from 1982 to 1988. In addition I thought No 9561 was a Slurry scraper and buck-rake combination and also No 9561 a Bomford cultivator.

Have I lost the plot or (am I missing something) or has my Excel spreadsheet gone all to pot

If they are going for that much, let me get my boxed one listed!

Not only does this Britains Fiat appear to have been priced by a crazy person it also is not the same as the one on it's box (I guess this is a Britains error?)

It is a factory error, but it is one that all the halftrack Fiat 90-90 boxes had on them. I would assume they had originally been proposing to make it a 2WD halftrack (as the 880DT halftrack was), and then changed their minds after having had the box labels printed - Britains were never in the habit of throwing things away.

It's a lot of money, even with the factory error with the tampo printing, but that particular seller is well known for eyewateringly high prices. I am not sure that he sells much.

There is another (in my opinion) grossly overpriced Britains item from another seller here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Britains-Tractor-shawnee-poole-rear-dump-boxed-9630-very-rare-original-/110829924297?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item19cdfa6fc9

I agree, especially as it is damaged, I'd say around £250-300 would be more realistic
