They are legit tractors,Versatile used the ford base model for their own tractors,i think it was for the supersteer system,but again,im not certain. SPN Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) Ford/Fiat owned Versatile but were forced to sell it to Buhler Industries when they took over Case due to Competition Authority issues. These tractors, known as Genesis, started life as Ford 70 series/Fiat G series, and were also the basis of the Challenger tractor. The Challenger was originally built at the Versatile plant in Winnipeg before Cat took it in-house at their Dekalb facility.
