i must say that having studied the pics in this current addition of model tractor of the forthcoming ih and case/ih 956 and 1056 im very much looking forward to them coming....ive been wanting one of these for some time now for display with some of my foragers...i always thought the ertl 956 was too short, more like an 856 to me,also the cab had no 45degree pillar to glaze to and i always avoided it.but now that this models coming and in both liverys,im very excited and have at least 7 period foragers to suit them...so bring them on,i dont even care if i have to modify them in any way, just good to see them coming....

As far as Britains goes this looks good  :)  I know its a pre production model but do they realise MF chassis colours are now grey? Have a word Andy before its to late ;)  Black went out 18months ago thankfully

may sound daft but that could be something to do with licencing? with UH doing a 74 with grey chassis?

According to what Andy has written in the latest 'Model Farmer', there will eventually be both 956XL and 1056XL versions of both the International and Case-IH  :)

The International 2+2 will be available in North America as a 3788 for Toy Farmer/National Farm Toy Show (and will be available from some specialist European model dealers, and as a 3588 for general release.

  • 3 weeks later...

This is of the final production sample of the upcoming 7480 that Massey signed off. Decals have been tidied up and the paint work tidier too.  :)

From the last sample I posted, it was pointed out that the paintwork was incorrect. Since Britains had the item signed off from MF, they were unaware of this error so I had to deliver the bad news! It was too late to change since the first production run had been completed but it will be rolled in on the second production run.

So a big thanks to those who pointed out the problem and big pat on the back for FTF  :)

Im glad one of my constructive critisisms has been well recieved for a change and the model will get a grey chassis in the future :)  Not a bad move for Britains as collectors will want both versions wont they ;)

Well I decided I was gonna buy a couple of MFs if I could find the pennies this year and after changing my mind a dozen times it will be a limited edition red UH 8680 with the superb trelleborg tyres and one of these hugely promising 7480s :D

As its got a black chassis it will have to be an ex hire 58 reg tractor to fit in ;D  maybe might have a 2nd one with grey chassis but that depends on whether MF release new 7600s soon? UH are sure to have a prototype on the go as I type ;)

it is certainly a good looking tractor, slight remark, where are the beacons or beacon

If it doesn't come with any, Andy Beech on here will sort ya out with some of his excellant mf style beacons  ;)

It looks to be a great replica, sure these will get sprayed grey before the offical rc2 one is out

That looks brilliant, well done RC2, looks like Britains might be back! Can't wait to see the IH models now, going by this they're gonna be great. Top marks RC2, judging by the pictures you have every right to be proud of that.
