If your using a spray can you can try painting the parts with 2 coats then leave the next day then give them a rub with scotchbrite then paint them properly how you would by doing it this way you give the parts a good ground coat to start with , top tip make sure the spray can is warm and the room you are painting in is also warm , you can put clear coat over the top but I carnt see this making any difference .when it comes to spray cans warm is better , how ever I use a completely different system and have all the facilities like heaters full size spray booth etc and I have been doing this for over 28 years , I don't use spray cans ,. You can also use a polishing compound to make is shine after it is dry ,, come and have a chat next time you see me and I will go into it because there are products in spray cans that will enable you to get a fantastic finish ,

Thanks for the tips and which polishing compound would you recommend Pete.

The strange thing is that the WIKING 1050 with these rear wheel weights in we make ,,, looks like is has always been like that , I think because we expected the model to have them in anyway

That is the point of a good modification Peter, it looks like it should always have been like that and something the makers got wrong in the first place

I just don't like this sort of machine as my knowledge of real machines is very limited As you all well know and I am sure they have a great purpose in life but my good they must have bounced on every branch on there way down off the ugly tree ,,, fluorescent paint comes in many forms and most people know it as really bright day glow colour ,,, , this red colour looks just a bright red under normal day light but under certain lights like street light at night it has really bright glow and very noticeable to on coming motorists , the emergence services in Europe use this colour and put flouresent strips on so they are seen at night , not like over here they just stick a very brite flouresent strip down the side ,, why ? Well it's a fortune to buy

Yes Paul your dead right ,,, these are not for every one ,,, but I laugh when I see company's doing so called limited editions 500 plus in these out land'ish colours and they think they can actually sell them ,,, they see the likes of me doing these sort of colours and think it's a good idear when the reality of it is you might only sell a hand full of any given colour  ;D
