Livestock still needs attending to, even during holidays !

A tidy blue Zetor with quickie loader was seen delivering a bale of hay to sheep at Thorton-le Dale this afternoon (nr Pickering) - "Walter Derwent" territory !

Happy New year Everyone

loads of big kit on the isle of wight,

case magnum 310 with huge horsh drill, several mfs out muck spreading, big jd 8530 with 7 furrow plough on, numerous other smaller tractors, mostly it has to be said nh's, also loads of old kit abandoned in hedge rows, inc combines ,highlight would be the mf 575 parked up in a filed with a standen beet harvestor on the back, as we first arrived , tried to find my way back but couldnt

also saw a lexion 660 tt parked up in a barn, was speaking to the guy that loads the ferrys while waiting this morning, and it costs them arround £1000 to £3000 to have the big kit delivered to the island, as it requires the farmer / dealer to hire a big landing craft that they use to transport oversize stuff, the lexion had to be de tracked and put on a special trolly to get it on ,as he remembers that delivery well, it was last spring, brand spanking new ,belongs to the islands main contractor
