My normal weekday wheels is a 2007 Audi 2 litre TDi Sline special edition but not for much longer. She will be 5 on the 31st July this year when she will go back to the dealer she came from. I'm getting a similar type of Audi before my new one arrives for on the rood on September 1 this year. Again an A4 but a 2 litre TDI Sline black edition Quattro in Monsoon grey and full black leather interior, heated front seats and factory fitted two bar. My cars also have to be tractor pullers during the year to pull my collection of vintage tractors to the show.

First picture shows my present car with my 1957 French Farmall Cub. The Cub is insured but is not yet road legal...still in the processing of getting it registerd despite owning it since 1999

My fastest tractor road wheels is my 1957 Nuffield Universal DM4

DM4003.jpg

Next fastest would be my 1941 Farmall A

Last but not least my 1951 International Farmall Cub the longest journey I have done on her is Alford to Whitehouse and back to Alford joining in the end of a tractor road run.

c2, generally found without rear seats and with a tool box full of snap-on in the back! unreliable, but i fix it myself so while annoying it's generally not expensive

4696747287_7968d4d0cf_o.jpg

the famous £50 fiesta, (half share in this) currently awaiting MOT and has been provisionally sold for £400!

2012-03-31162437.jpg

mini #1 (half share) clubman estate log book says 1100, we are roughly £2k into this at the moment as it arrived extremely rusty and now has a 2.0 16v vauxhall engine in, like so!

2012-04-22_09-49-16_HDR.jpg

also have a half share in a roundnose mini saloon, rust free and have all the bits to build it, just none of the time!

should also mention i'm on the hunt for either a freelander 1 in 5 door TD4 automatic HSE flavour to replace the c2, or a series 3 SWB landrover...

An old mans Merc for me

I'm actually quite fond of it although bloody useless in the snow :-[

Nice grandad's car barry ;) I bet its better than my quad in the snow, no weight on the back end and rear wheel drive. Fun though

Heres a little toy I share with the brother. Mitsi Mirage (Colt) Mivec ZR. JDM Spec. She kicks out 175BHP from a 1.6L.Factory fig. Which works out at 165 BHP/Per ton power to weight ratio. A real screamer . Redlines at 8500 RPM. Eats GTis for breakfast & gives Type Rs a good run. Jap cars I LOVE.

What isn't right here? ;D

Sadly I haven't seen many proper makes on here ::)

I don't own any car at the minute but my boss gave me this very nice Fiat Punto Evo. With a hefty 1.3l diesel engine!

40.000km on her now (25.000 miles) since it came to me back in July of last year.

Those 106's go like stink with the GTi engine, my sister had a 106 GTi when I had my 306 GTi-6, she could beat me off the lights, but i could catch and pass her soon after :)

Did you put the engine in yourself?

They do those 106s. A friend of mine uses one for rallying & my brother co -drives. Little rockets. But the Mitsi Mivec i share with the brother would be that bit quicker & shes a 1.6 L also. Just revs higher & pulls threw the gears harder. The 106 GTI has better torque down low,so it would pull of the line that bit quicker ,as the power in the Mivec dont kick in till around 5500 rpm just like a Vtec. But when it kicks in IT SERIOUSLY KICKS IN . As any Irish lad on the forum thats into his cars would agree with me ,back around 15 years ago there was a big influx of high performance Japenesse imports that flooded the Irish car market during the Celtic Tiger. Every young lad had money ,there was plenty of jobs & guys brought all kinds of cars in from Japan, some very rare ones at that back then . The GTI,XR3i ,GSIs & the like suddenly died a bad death in favour of Honda Type Rs, Starlet GT Turbos ,Pulsar VZRs,Altezzas ,Mivec Colts & Corolla 20 Valve Levins. Then the bigger Skylines, Supras, RX7s,Evos ,Silvas etc came on the scene when guys had too much money to spend.

So now in the recession these high powered Jap cars have died a bad death & its German diesels guys are buying instead. Its funny how the wheel turns. LITERALLY. ::)8)

It has had one owner from new. Can anybody guess how much he paid for it?
