We've seen the success of the UH and NOREV classic CLAAS combines. I think there would surely be a demand for classic Claes/Clayson/NH combines from the M103 right up to the TX series.

I'd love to see an 8100 and a 7400 in 1:32, but both were niche models in their day, so not sure how much demand there would be for them in model form.

It seemed like every other combine was a NH in the 80s so I'm certain there would be demand. I was thinking 81/82 from replicagri as they were aimed at the French market just like the 7400 and 7910 (which is also like them to produce!)

The 7400 was a very rare tractor.. Even in France & Beligum  .. I remember 2 Fritzmeir cabbed 74s around localy years ago.. One contractor had one on a NH 717 Chopper backed up by a few 76s & 66s carting.. If Replicagre were to do Fords .. could see them early  6cyl Fords being done alright.. A 7910 & 8210 are much the same & both could be done on the same tooling...But the 81 is the one I would crave for the most & I reckon the  classic NH combines will eventually surface from ether UH, ROS or Replicagri..

I didn't realise there were any 74s this side of the channel. Do you know if those were imported by the owners? A 79 is just a non turbo 82 isn't it?

There was a Ford dealer in Ireland (I think it was Armstrongs) who used to import Q cab 7400s. I remember the ad in the Farmers Journal when I were a lad.

I've never seen a Fritz 7400. Truly the forerunner to the 7810.

The 7910 and 8210 are both derated TW5s mated to 7710 back ends. The same tractor with a different tweak to the fuel pump.

I bet the 7400's were a beast in their day. Probably still a useful tractor. They would be the forerunner to the 8100 wouldn't they. I thought 79 and 82's preceded the tw 5's which were brought in with the force II range and also had the non load bearing block and used chassis rails like the rest I the t dubs unlike the 82 and 79's

To be honest ... I think half the Fords in Ireland back then were imported from Beligum . Fritz 7A Fords were as common as Q crabbed ones.. Probably depended on the dealer.. I know of lots of secondhand Fords also imported from the UK by Ford dealers. Our own 4000 came from a large estate in England secondhand threw Coleman's in Millstreet .

I don't have my copy of the New Testament with me, so I can't say for definite, but my recollection is that the TW5 replaced the TW10, the TW15 replaced the TW20, and the TW25 was a new model.

I also think the 7400 and 8100 used a truck engine, whereas the 7810, 7910 and 8210 used the TW engine.

7400: 2714E engine mated to 6600 backend (I take it the engine was also a Dorset truck engine)

8100: 2715E Dorset truck engine mated to 6700 backend

7910 had a de-rated 8210 engine

8210 was a 8200 but incorporation of series 10 features with a little more power and ZF front axle and made "in house" rather than County making it.

TW5 was a rebadged TW10 and only done in 2wd for north America

TW15 was a TW20 with de-rated engine to 143 bhp instead of 153 bhp

TW25 had a TW20 engine with injection pump re-calibrated to increase fuel flow to 163 bhp

Info from the New Testament

...... and we hope that Replicagri  make them all.

(getting quickly back on topic :police:>:D:- )

That about sums it up alright..  Please please please  an 8100 for the next 6cyl Ford to be realised...

Great to see the 133-14 tx being made as had two of these in the passed in real not a bad tractor the MWM engine would lug very well. Not being fussy but were is the fuel filler cap? As in real it was on top of the bonnet great to fill in the field with cans not! good old days!

Has anyone purchased the 1640 Axial Flow? What are your thoughts on the quality? Some of the photos I've seen shows the reel is poorly made?, also can the header be put on the optional header trailer that they sell?

Super quality, header fits on the trailer, almost perfect, corn header should have bin 6 row and top of the grainbin should not have a lid on imo
