Thanks John, yes it was a bit of a trial. To get everything to line up and work as it should. I would love a day on it without any interruptions, to get it moved on a bit! alf aphid
Updates a little slower than I like, but hey ho. Bit of finishing then nearly ready for some paint, although I’m going to wait for better weather first. was going to use usk Dom header but thinking maybe I will build it now
JEP
Very impressive Alastair! looking great now, will be a fine addition to your collection. Really looking forward to seeing it with some paint on. Great job.
Stabliofarmer
Looks fantastic Al, I honestly wouldn't even know where to start. I think a scratch built header would be the right way to go. No point going to all the effort with the main machine for the header to not be quite what you want.

alf aphid
Thanks All, yes the end is in sight. Think I will tackle the header. It’s just the reel and auger I dread.

Thank you Will The reel spiders are driving me round the twist. So difficult to get symmetrical, and laborious to cut, you are only millimetres away from disaster on every cut! Done one. Going to bed

Going to bed Repetitive parts like that are the worse thing of the hobby I always think ! Sometimes I use a very small amount of glue and stick them on top of each other and cut around to ensure they are the same, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t!
