if were talking uears it has to be 1979 when i was spoiled

a massey combine MF595 and hay tedder with a britains two wheeled trailer

oh and the 1979 catologue i think came in with the combine but dont quote me on that my folkes could haVE SLIPPED the cataloge in the box

i seem to remember getting a catolouge inside a combine once, think it may have been the nh tr85??

Quite impressed with the newer big Deere's to be honest but the tyres do leave a little doubt in mt mind. Can't think of another that comes as close detail wise though, the newer Case tractors possibly? MF1505 or maybe even the Deere 8630. ..

Oh I'll just witter on about nothing!!  :D :D :D

Dear Denis,

Most of the Fords came a close second - but my 6.50 has been around the clock twice ploughing with a 3f rev (heavy carpet land down here) 

That's as maybe, but it's not enough like to real thing to warrant being called the best ever!

The Mf combine was launched in 1979 (Toy of the Year) and featured on the front of that years catalogue. it was quite common for the current catalogue to be included inside the box, certainly in later years, which is probably why there are still a lot of them knocking around today

how come I got one for xmas 1978 and it was the toy of the year for 1978  :D

I used to love getting the catalogue in the box, seems kind of like penny pinching to have stopped it. Although some models bought in my locality may not have had the catalogue in the box as a certain person might have been a bit too eager to see the new years releases and subtly liberated it from the box  :-[
