That just breaks your heart! I bet if the owner of the 12/1455 (I can’t quite see which it is!) knew what they were fetching now it would be retired fairly sharpish!

It does that John, the salty air won't have done them any favours but a good man would be able to salvage a good tractor out if what's left.... It's criminal though that so many classics there left to decay... It's sad enough to see old majors and old nuffys decaying by the salt but there's a big difference in relative price range between an old major and a tw......

Your teaching her well paul, like john says if the owners knew what some tractors are fetching they would be retiring them, most dont look in bad shape yet apart from the little nash

Don't think Gemma needed much teaching, she turned out to be the tractor mad midwife of Burnley General hahaha.. but yes I'd say they want saving before they get beyond salvage.... One of the TW would be right at home in your new shed once Matt gets the 802 finished

On the way home last night apparently there was a crash around Cattrick on the A1M, so I thought I'd come home via the access road that runs parallel to the motorway. I'm very glad I did, catching a sighting of 2 new Claas lexions, a 5400 and 770 cutter and a 6700 with a 930 cutter. After showing dad, the 6700 belongs to Metcalfes with the 5400 being a loan/ Claas demo Machine.

Theres a few creeping in now, but none on my patch yet...............saw my first working Lex 8900 today but camera failed😠.................just like catkoms it didnt have the fold back auger surprisingly, despite 13.8m header!

Peacock and Binnington, and B&B Tractors a shifted quite a few IDEAL 8 and 9s around here for this harvest fitted with both the Gehringhoff and standard headers. Was told there's five 10Ts gone onto farms for this season, all not far from each other. Two with steering wheels and three with the joystick set up. I've a 9250 Axial Flow to photograph next week after this next lot of rain has passed, and the local Deere dealer Ripon Farm Services have sold an X9 to farm i've photographed on before in North Lincolnshire that was on display at the Great Yorkshire Show, fingers crossed i'll be able to see that at work this Summer too. Looks like Doubledays down your way have shifted quite a few X9s this year.
