mb86
Thanks Paul. The 66 was a bit frustrating at times but I'm glad I stuck at it.

I took too much off the mudguards of the first floorpan which I was mad at myself for and also I wanted to glaze the outside if the cab but I couldn't get it neat enough so had to put it on the instde instead. It also took a bit of legwork as I had to go to a paint specialist twice to get the paint mixed.

mb86
Thanks Justin. Yes finally Paul. Marge ford blue is different. I have a can ford tractor blue. although it isn't genuine new holland stuff, maybe genuine paint is a different shade.

I thought it would be easier to match the cab to the rest rather than re spray the whole lot but I might have been wrong on that. 1 hour ago, chris.watson said: they look a treat Martin, especially the 15, lovely tractor. Thanks Chris. I have a soft spot for 15s
Tractorman810
If you want to glaze those cabs inside the frames Martin, the easiest way is to add a 1mm plastic square all round the window frame ,about half way in on the thickness of it , it gives you a edge to fix to then rather than just the very very thin edge of the glazing , it also allows you to paint it black if needed for that rubber effect, it takes a bit of time as its a bit fiddly but is worth it ,just cut the clear plastic to fit using the original size opening as a template . Took me a while to figure it out I must say,

It's one of the few big 6 cyls left to be done by the likes of UH or Marge etc,, 8210 & an 8100.. Would like to attempt one my self , but there seems to be no suitable skid unit to suit .. Unless I go cutting up TWs & 7810s.

Tractorman810
Liking the plough mate, wonder if he could do a dp7 4 +1 ? How's your push pull set coming along ?

I think they would be more than capable of building one going by the quality of work on mine. It even has the splitpin through the nut on the turn over shaft and hex heads on various bolts! Push pull hasn't got any further. Starting lambing next week so it might stay like that for another 2 month I'm afraid. Might get a bit done before that though as the OH is away so won't have her nagging that I'm playing with tractors when there are things in the house needing doing. Put these trees together tonight as a bit of an experiment. the trunk is from a blackthorn and the branches are that seafoam stuff, have some foliage scatter still to go on them. What do you think would be best to use to stick the leaves on? Have seen a video where they use hairspray but I don't want it to disintegrate if it gets knocked.
